Very form-fitting bottom half of dress. Originally ordered the XS, but it was skintight. Opted for S even though the top was a bit bigger on me--still more comfortable one size up. Thicker fabric. Arm pieces kept riding up when dancing, so was constantly pulling them down into place. Otherwise, loved it. Would preferred to have worn to a non-dancing formal event ;) Received lots of compliments.

Love this dress. Wore to Summer "cocktail attire" wedding. Ordered Small, but thankfully got a Medium as backup -- wore the medium as it was a bit more comfortable, but still fitted (not as tight as size small). The bottom quarter of dress is sheer, where there is no black lining. Had to be careful while sitting down during wedding ceremony and reception! Received so many compliments -- the color and style are gorgeous in person! Highly recommend.

This gown is stunning. The pleated skirt is so flowy and swings beautifully when moving and dancing, the bodice completely covers in all the right places. For small-chested girls (likemaself), you won't even need a b-r-a. The length was absolutely perfect, just half an inch above the floor. I'm 5'7" and wore 3.5 inch heels, making me 5'10.5" - if you're shorter than that, go with regular or you'll be tripping on the very fine fabric skirt. I couldn't count how many complements I received at this black tie wedding! This dress is the perfect balance between sexy, classy and comfortable. Highly, highly recommend for a formal affair!!

I do LOVE this dress, but the closest next size, Small, wasn't available so I stuck with XS. Based on other reviews, it seemd that would work, but due to my height, I found myself pulling the dress down all night, as it was a tad short. While it fit snug, I received a ton of compliments. Ultimately, I would definitely have been more comfortable in a size Small. If you're tall, go one size up!
