Overall I had a solid experience renting my dresses, but I will caution others to order so the dresses arrive as early as possible. The 0L and 2L in this dress arrived and as I went to try them on I noticed that the 0L had a 2 inch hole in the seam just below the zipper. Then when I put on the 2L I noticed that the purple sequins had lost some of their color and now looked silver in a 3" x 7" band down the front of my left leg. I called RTR mainly just to make sure that I wasn't on the hook for the damage and they offered to send me replacement dresses ASAP. The dresses arrived the next morning, however I decided I still liked my original picks and decided that in the dark ball I was attending, no-one would notice the discoloration. I was right.....I received compliments all night long about how beautiful the dress was. It really is lovely and VERY figure flattering. My only complaint would be that I did not realize how challenging wearing sequin dresses can be. My arms and even the back of my legs ended up very scratched. I look like I had gotten in a fight with a cat. But I would wear it again and suffer through the "pain". I think the dress may run a little small because usually wear a 0 and in this dress the 2 fit much better.

I found most of the reviews helpful in planning what I'd need before the dress arrived though. I wore the dress on a cold night in November, and wore black tights underneath. I didn't have any issues with the dress clinging or riding up on the tights. It fit so elegantly. There was a bit of an opening under the sleeves, but it didn't bother me. I wore a black bra underneath and didn't have any concerns about being "exposed".

Didn't work for my super slim figure. I ordered an XS and it was still a bit too big in the small of my back (just above my bum). Rather than hugging that area of my body, it gapped out and just didn't look right. I returned it immediately to receive a credit to my account. I also didn't find the material looked quite as nice in person as I expected. It's still pretty, but I was expecting much higher quality lace. I'm also small busted and felt that and extra padding bra would be required to fill out the top properly and give that curvier appearance that lends well to the dress.

LOVED this dress! I'm tall and very thin and this dress worked great. It's easy to wear, no special undergarments required. I wore it with some black heels to imitate the look in the image, but nude shoes would look amazing as well. The sequin pattern is so chic!
