Dress is stretchy and dark, so fit is super easy and I had no issues with bust or waist fit. Zipper is a little tricky to try and get on your own, good to have a friend handy for this. I wore this for a red carpet and awards event, as well as the cocktail/after party and it was a hit. Got tons of compliments from my friends, male and female.

This dress was stunning. I got tons of compliments all night. I'm 5'10" and the long size still hit the floor even with heels. I would say this does run a little small because it was snug through the middle and across the front of the shoulders. I'm usually between a 6 and an 8 - this wasn't an unflattering fit at all, and looked great but did wear a little tight and by the end of the night I was definitely ready to get it unzipped. I wore this with a nude strapless bra and a strap extender to accommodate for the low back cut out, but you could wear it without a bra. I wore this to an awards banquet that required mingling, taking photos and doing some speaking/interviews and this was great for that. I would not have wanted to wear it for dancing or doing a lot of running around. That having been said, it had a lovely, lush movement to it when I walked; I just wasn't going to get anywhere fast. Just as a side note - not really sure about the name of this dress as it is neither glitter nor gold. It's a nude/champagne color and there is just a hint of shine from the sheath but nothing more.

I followed the advice of other renters, and ordered two sizes down from my usual (normally an 8, very rarely a 6). The dress was very pretty and comfortable, but it was absolutely huge. I didn't think it was realistic to order a 2 as a backup size, but I wish I would have. It seemed like the tan elastic that runs around the waistline of this dress was really loose and stretched out (worn out) which kept it from keeping its shape. I ended up wearing a belt and boots with the dress, luckily it was a small autumn wedding so I could dress it down a bit without it being too weird.

I rented this for a semi-formal awards banquet where I would be accepting an award and speaking. It was modest and professional and comfortable enough for the night. The color was unique, which I appreciated. I was a little underwhelmed by this dress based on the reviews I read. I expected the material to look or feel a little more lavish but it was a really basic synthetic sheath with a full lace over layer. I normally wear an 8 but had to size up in this because the top was so narrow. It made me feel a little lost and shapeless because the 10 was a little too big on the bottom. Even in the 10, the lace cap sleeves were a little snug on my slightly-muscular arms. It got the job done, but I didn't love it.

I rented this for a semi-formal cocktail awards event. I was excited to wear this dress but it just wasn't what I hoped it would be. The proportions for the blouse and skirt just didn't look quite right on my body, I wanted the blouse to be blousier and maybe a little lower-cut, and the seam between the two pieces to be a little more interesting. It was fairly comfortable and easy to accessorize but I wasn't that excited about it.

I almost had a crisis wearing this dress because the side zip was a challenge to get up and I had no one with my in my hotel room to help me - I gave a cheer when I finally got the zipper up. Once it was on, this dress was a vision. The color is incredibly vibrant and the comments about the unique movement and feel of the skirt are absolutely true and I got compliments from every single person I spoke to at the party. Unfortunately the dress I received did have a snag in the delicate outer layer of fabric otherwise this dress was gorgeous. That having been said, I don't know that I would recommend this for "athletic" body types; the one-shoulder made my defined traps and arms look enormous.

I loved this dress! I felt stunning in it and got a ton of compliments. As I am normally an 8, I ordered both 8L and 10L but decided on the 10L. The difference in the length between the 8L and 10L was significant as the 10L fell all the way to the floor with my heels on, and the 8L did not. Over the course of the night, I regretted choosing the 10L because the dress was incredibly heavy, seemed to stretch out and I had to keep pulling it up. It became a hassle to walk in.
