This dress is soooo effing cute—I literally saved it for the very end of my haul to try on. But the second I stepped my first foot inside, I actually yelped! I thought I was stepping into packaging I forgot to remove, but no: there is an insanely uncomfortable, plastic, fish-catching trap of a structure sewn into the waist. Ironically, that exact plastic contraption is what gives the seam that perfect structural "bump out" that drew me to the dress in the first place! The lace and the red color are absolutely beautiful. However, even if I looked past the sharp interior structure, the top portion fit a bit strange and loose. I honestly would have happily suffered through the plastic cage if the top had been a little more fitted and flattering!

This jacket is super cool and incredibly soft both on the inside and the out! However, the fit gave me a bit of a ride. The sleeves are definitely on the shorter side—which unfortunately played right into my usual long-arm insecurities. My real hang-up, though, was the collar. I love a good collar, but when I buckled this baby all the way up, I looked in the mirror and felt like I was having a weird, intense moment with myself. Beautiful piece, just maybe leave it unbuckled and push the sleeves up!

There are two tales to this piece. From the chest down, the way it falls is an absolute dream—stunning, sleek, and perfectly tailored. But the shoulder pads are so intensely over-the-top that I couldn't seriously wear it without feeling like a cartoon villain. If you can rock hyper-exaggerated structure, go for it, but it was a pass for me.
