Definitely recommend this dress for anyone who may be on the fence about it! I only wish it were spring or summer so I could have rocked it to its full potential as I failed to consider the 8 degree weather when wearing it. I was nervous about it possibly being too revealing - I wore it to a venue that is slightly conservative. It worked out perfectly. The designer definitely made sure the little bits were strategically placed so it's hot, but not too hot, and classy. I could have worn the S or M but went with the S so the mesh bits didn't move around. Really though either would have worked for me. Also, you can def wear with or without a bra or one of the many other options available for us ladies depending on your size. This dress is truly a great take an on the LBD for those of us who are looking for some umph and wanting to stand out amongst all the other LBDs.

Even if you're a Milly fanatic like myself, order a size up! I was so looking forward to wearing this dress to a wedding and thought I was on point with the sizes that I usually wear. Milly usually runs true to size in my experience with the dresses I've rented as well as those I own...except for this one. Regardless of the size I can always make do with one (I always get two sizes to be on the safe side) which is why I was counting on this dress. It fit so unlike her other dresses that I was genuinely upset. I'm not sure if it has to do with the lace around the shoulders or the material. It was tight all over and just did not fit like the many Milly dresses I've rocked over the last few years. I ended up wearing another Milly dress for the occasion which was much more true to form. Just a heads up with this one as it may not fit like other dresses by this designer (who I still love despite this!)

Not exactly the most exciting dress but both sizes I ordered fit well. I could have probably worn a 0, 2, or 4 without any problems which is one of my favorite things about Milly (at least given my size and proportions). I wore this to a wedding where I was meeting my boyfriends family for the first time so it was conservative for the setting with just enough pop. The dress also provides a great background for a good statement necklace without conflicting too much with the pink. The arm holes were a bit tight for wedding dancing but other than that no complaints :) You can't go wrong with this designer and I hope RTR gets us some new inventory soon!

I absolutely agree with Monica! These earrings were WAY larger than I expected. The picture is quite deceiving given the actual dimensions. I wish I could find the pics I took for fellow RTR customers out there. I was so excited to open the box and eager to wear vintage Chanel to a wedding. No offense Coco, but these things were so huge I'm not sure they'd even be acceptable at a wedding decades ago. Alas, I spent quite a bit of money to rent these and couldn't even wear them If I wanted to as they were so clunky and heavy to even stay on my earlobes. Def save your money and rent a necklace or bag instead. I've always been happy with my RTR accessories but these are misrepresented on the site and were a total waste of my money.

This dress was just as expected - true to size without any surprises. I rented a 2 and 4 and went with the 2. I do agree with other reviewers in that the dress is quite short when seated. I'm pretty short at 5'2" so it's something I'm not used to and a fit issue I rarely encounter! It wasn't that bad in the end but still something to be aware of just in case you're renting this dress to meet your future mother in law for the first time or something :)

I wore this to a summer wedding and got tons of compliments! I could have worn a 0 but the 2 was workable. It ran a bit larger than Kate Spade dresses usually do on me. Loved the pockets and the material. It can definitely be dressed up with a statement necklace or some killer shoes. I almost felt the need to dress it up with something but the color was so vibrant I didn't want to overdo it for the type of wedding I was attending. Loved it!

This was one of two dresses I rented for a wedding weekend - at the time I wasn't sure which I'd be wearing for the rehearsal dinner and for the wedding. I loved the color and cut of this dress (not to mention the pockets!!) but it definitely was not summer wedding worthy. I was pretty underwhelmed when it arrived which may have been in part due to the 0 still being a bit large on me. I am not a beanpole (no offense to those ladies out there who are!) or super skinny by any means. I even considered renting a 4 instead of a 0 as my second size. So glad I didn't as this dress ran super large on me as others have said. I had to run out at the last minute to find a belt that would spice the look up so it wouldn't feel so bland. Thanks to the other users for their belt ideas! Overall, it was still a nice dress in a beautiful color but definitely more on the casual side.

I rented this dress as a backup and ended up wearing the other dress I rented for my occasion. I usually love Lilly dresses but this dress sort of made me feel like I was wearing a potato sack (sorry Lilly!) even in the size 0. Maybe it's because I'm petite but it just didn't feel quite right.

I've been renting from RTR from the moment they opened up shop and this dress has to be my favorite dress I've ever rented over the years. This color isn't available anymore (I wish it were because I'd rent it again!) but the black version is still available which I'd highly recommend. Both the 2 and 4 fit me comfortably but I ended up going with the 2. If you're unsure about renting this dress (the black one that's still available) DO IT!

Wore this to a formal affair and absolutely loved it. It wasn't too formal or too casual but just right! Definitely great for dancing too!

Fits true to size and is classy without being your boring run of the mill LBD. I was surprised at the number of compliments I got since it's just a little black dress! At a later time I also rented the red version of the dress and received just as many compliments! Even better, no one realized I had worn this black version a year earlier to another function :) I was pleased with both versions. The one shoulder cut is also subtle enough that you can wear a necklace without it seeming over the top or awkward.

This dress is absolutely gorgeous and true to size. I ended up wearing the other dress I rented instead of this dress as the sleeves made it seem a tad too dressy for the function I was going to. The sleeveless version wasn't on RTR yet at the time (I believe the tags were still on this when I rented it) and would have likely been more appropriate. It was so pretty though and I was super bummed I didn't get to wear it!

I also loved this clutch so much that I didn't want to mail it back! It was the perfect size for all of my essentials. I was at a party that didn't have a place or tables to leave your clutch so the strap made me the envy of all of my clutch holding friends.
