A contradiction
The velvet top is matronly and grandma-ish, while the bottom is fun and playful. Not sure why the velvet material was used on the top, as it would be too warm if weather allowed one to wear the shear skirt with booty shorts under it.

Only negative is that if you don't get full body pics, it just looks like you are wearing a boring black sweater. The bottom lace detail is definitely the best part of the garment.

This dress would've been perfect, but for the straps that are set so wide they are impossible to keep on your shoulders. I have broad shoulders and a big chest, so can't imagine how anyone would be able to keep them in place without some kind of fashion tape.
