I wore this at a reception at the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I was surrounded by fashion people, and at one point an insanely well dressed man came up and whispered "FABULOUS necklace, darling" in my ear. It made my whole night.

I wore this to a reception at the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I felt great in the dress, which is flattering, forgiving, and super chic! Unfortunately, it couldn't really accommodate my boobs (36C), but I fixed that by wearing a jog bra -- problem solved. It didn't hang 100% perfectly on my left side, probably because I'm not a hanger, but I don't think anybody noticed the little wrinkle at my hip. The bodice is black and the skirt is midnight blue -- appears black in a dark room. I wore it with the Anton Heunis colorblocked crystal necklace, which seemed like it was made for this dress.
