Great winter party dress
Size 10 not available, but size 12 worked. I needed to put a pin to hold the V together. Sleeve length was great for longer arms. Dress was in excellent shape. Dress moved easily and was comfortable for many hours of partying. Blue was somewhere between royal and navy with a beautiful sheen.

Perfect for formal holiday party
Very true to sizing. Had to cut a few threads, but dress in good shape. Comfortable to wear, including for dancing -- dress material doesn't scratch and has a bit of stretch.

On of the best dresses I've ever gotten!
Excellent quality, beautiful on, and really moves easily on the dance floor. It's harder to flatter an apple shape but this dress does it. Size 10 worked fine but I wore the 12 so it would hang looser for dancing all night. Such an amazing cut, but I never had to tug or be phobic about sitting. This dress make my top 3 of all time RTR faves!

Perfect for an outdoor formal fall wedding! Got tons of complements!
Dress fit well on my apple-shape midsection, but it was a little gap-y on my shoulders and size B/C bust line. The dress looked very elegant plus was extremely comfortable for an outdoor wedding from pre-wedding though to the last dance. Highly recommend!

Slight cold snap, so didn't wear this one.
The fit on the size 10 was great and the dress looked fantastic on. I rented long and short sleeve dresses for an outdoor daytime wedding, and as it happened, it was a bit cool that day. That's the only reason I did not wear this dress. It was otherwise perfect and beautiful.

My friends were thrilled and kept asking me to "do a twirl" so new party goers could see it.
Dress stretches and hugs in all the right places, but no need to tug it down all night. Material is fairly heavy, so may not be appropriate for a hot weather event.

British wedding with hat -- great dress needed...and received!

Dress is clingy in a good way. I'd size down for the additional size. Dress was very flattering if tummy is a concern. Neckline was really gorgeous!

All eyes were on me when I walked in. My sister-in-law in France posted FB complements w/i an hour!
This is the only dress in my life I had to get the photo to figure out how to put on. Hint: take careful note what goes where when removing from hanger. This dress works for a smaller bust. It looks daring but stays perfectly in place even while dancing. This is the one I really didn't want to return!!

Very heavy. High quality and well-made. Very chic looking on. I have extremely small wrists, though, and it left a small bruise on my wrist-bone from shifting back and forth over the course of an 8-hour event.

This dress felt a little flimsy on. Although well-made enough, it was more prom-like than black tie affair-like. The fit was fine, but it was not particlarly flattering on me.

FIt was great. The flow of the gown and leg slit may go unnoticed if you're not walking around...or twirling a lot. if that's your thing. It looks like a great, unfussy black gown at rest. It really looks special when in motion.

I decided to glam it up a little for a neighborhood party. Complements flowed all night.
It's perfect for a party, but not so over-the-top that it would be inapproprirate for a lower-key event like a special dinner as well. The over-all fit was great (snug in right places; giving in right places -- sitting and walking not a problem). Dress constuction seemed as if it pulled a little to one side, but once I confirmed it was on straight and got used to that sensation, I never noticed it the rest of the night.

This dress hugs you tight and never lets go! My hubby's eyes lit up!
The fabric is on the heavy side and it acts like a dress and undergarment all in one. Not for the timid. It gave the illusion of a fuller bust and narrow waist than I actually have. Color/cut are gorgeous. I was on the line of needing the next size up -- if I were going to eat a big meal, I'd select large.

The fabric is rich and heavy -- perfect for a snowy Dec. party night. The draping is flattering to the midsection. The dress length is great for taller women -- I wore 6 inch heels with no problem.
