I never post review but had to with this one. This is a drop waist and the seam puckered up right under where my cesarean section scar is. I don’t have much of a tummy at all but this made my midsection look weirdly shaped. I wore it to work just to use it but I was uncomfortable all day.

This dress is easy, comfortable and gorgeous. You don't have to wear spanx, a bra or any other stifling under clothes. I am normally a 6 but I just went ahead and ordered a 4 and it was perfection. I didn't even need fabric tape. Although it was very low cut, I wasn't in danger of over exposure. I wore this to see Bette Midler in Hello Dolly and then to a perfect dinner with friends and I had people stopping me to ask me where I got my dress. This dress is a stunner. Everyone will have their eyes on you. It is sexy in a sophisticated way, not an overt "here is my body" way.

I am an event planner and dresses like this are part of my everyday wear. This dress is beautiful and comfortable and I received many compliments. I reviewed that it runs large...I'm not sure I would have wanted a smaller size, but it was nice that it wasn't tight in the waist as it looks like it should be. It fit well but wasn't constricting. I wore it for an entire workday and wasn't dying to get out of it at the end of the day.

I rented this for work but ended up wearing it for birthday party with girlfriends and also date night with my husband. It is super sexy but not in a "showing too much" way. One of my friends said my curves were like Kim K. in this dress. It definitely shows the booty. I felt great in it and loved wearing it.

As others have noted, the arms are very tight but once you work them on, it works out. I work in a more formal setting so this was a perfect work outfit. I had to pin the top of the blouse because of severe cleavage but the pin was easily hidden. But the safety-pinned top, the tied-sash closure around waist combined with spanx make for an ordeal every time you have to go to the bathroom. I enjoyed wearing this and it was fun but I sent back after the first wear. Which is the beauty of RTR!

This dress is beautiful. However, RTR sent a UK 6 and UK 8 (which is a US 2 or 4) so I never got to wear the dress, or even attend my event for that matter. I'm reviewing this to let you know that the dress runs long. I am 5'5" and wear 5" -6" heels and the long side of the size 4 hit my ankles and the high side didn't seem very high. I'm wondering how long my appropriate fit would've been as I selected the dress for its shorter length. The dress really is beautiful and there is gold on the underside of the black fabric which gives it a slight shimmer all over. Be prepared to steam the dress before you wear. (iron won't work on this fabric).

Wore this with the orange and pink Tibi dress...it's just gorgeous. Makes the dress special.

This dress is couture at its finest. A lovely dress that made me feel beautiful. It has a lot of material to it so I chose the smaller of the two sizes that I rented. I have a small bust and it fit well. I don't believe this dress would fit a larger bust very well. I, too, experienced static at first but found the remedy in going bare legged with lotion on the legs. It does have puff around the tummy but that is part of the style. I agree if this is a problem area for you it might make you uncomfortable. I adored this dress and never wanted to take it off.
