Such a cute dress online, just doesn't fit well.
I rented this for NYE (for an awesome price!), but was really bummed when neither dress fit. I'm typically a 4 in dresses, but have an athletic booty/thighs and wear a 28 in jeans. I tried the 6 on first, and the hips/butt were so tight I could hardly pull it all the way up, but the top was much too loose. The dress was just so uncomfortable that there was no way I could wear it all night. I didn't even bother trying on the 4 since the bigger size was so tight in the skirt. Such a shame too, because the design and style is great, and the sparkly belt that is sewn on the dress is a perfect accent. Perhaps this would fit better on someone with a straighter figure.

Adorable dress, just wish it had arrived earlier!
RTR was kind enough to overnight this to me for a last-minute NYE replacement dress, however, something happened with UPS and it didn't show up in time. So, not having anywhere fancy to go the night of Jan 2nd, I just had to try it on and return it. I am typically a size 4 and the 4 fit great! The length was just short enough to be fun, but not too short for a family affair (I'm 5'7"). The swingy skirt is forgiving if you have an athletic booty/thighs like I do. The floaty sleeves are very cute, and the shimmery fabric sort of wraps across the bodice. Another plus: you can wear a regular bra! A great dress, one I'll definitely rent again now that I know it fits!

Beautiful red gown, perfect for a formal holiday event!
This was a last-minute overnighted gown when my original rental didn't fit. It was certainly a beautiful red gown, I felt great in it, and I was so comfortable (and warm!) all night. The gown showed very little signs of previous wear - just one or two snags at the hem where it probably had gotten stepped on. The sizing was right on - it fit perfectly through the bust and waist, and the gown was loose around the hips which allowed for a night of dancing. I wore it with 4" heels (1/2" platform) and the gown just grazed the floor - the 6R would've been far too short with heels. While everyone else was freezing, I was so happy for all the extra fabric keeping me warm! So grateful for the fantastic customer service at RTR that was able to get this dress to me so quickly!

Gorgeous gown, just didn't fit right.
This was a last-minute overnighted gown when my other rental didn't fit. It was a beautiful dress, but sadly, it didn't fit me right. It was very tight in the chest and hips (to the point of being uncomfortable), yet the waist area kept bunching up when I moved. Even with some trusty spanx, I couldn't get it to hang right. I have a full booty, and I think the gown is designed for more of a straight figure (aka models). I tried it on with approx. 3" heels, and the length was just right. This was definitely the prettier of the gowns I picked, so I was really bummed I wasn't able to wear it.

Sadly, wasn't able to wear the dress.
I rented this for a holiday black tie event, but neither of the sizes I got fit me. The 4 (which had previously been worn and then dry cleaned) was VERY tight in the torso/chest - I was unable to zip it up all the way. The dress also has a fairly snug slip beneath the full skirt, so even though the skirt flares, the 4 was close to being too tight in the hips. The 6 (which was brand new with tags still on) was far too big in the chest. In my opinion, way too much of a size difference between the 4 and 6 - I'm guessing the 4 shrunk after being dry cleaned? The dress that had previously been worn definitely didn't look as nice as the new one, the lace overlay on the bodice didn't really lie flat at the waistline, and there was some wear to the tulle. However, the new dress looked great, very cute style and appropriate length - I'm really bummed it was too large. Fortunately, the wonderful customer service reps at RTR were able to overnight me 2 other dresses to save the day! FYI: As another reviewer noted, the dress lacks a hook and eye closure at the top of the zipper and is a challenge to pull the zipper up without someone helping you… Make sure you're getting dressed with a helper!

So cute, so comfortable.
I wore this to a rehearsal cocktail party for a summertime beach wedding. The dress was really cute - I only wish I could've worn it again! It was perfect for a summer evening on the beach, might have been a bit warm in the daytime. The sizing was perfect - I usually wear a 2 and the 2 fit like a charm. I wore this with silver/pewter sandals which looked great.

Rented this for a June wedding on the ocean pier in the Outer Banks. I LOVED the look of it - the embroidery was beautiful, the color was great, and you can't beat a dress with pockets! It did run a bit small - I typically wear a 2 and needed to size up (fortunately I rented a bigger back up size). As you can see from the photo, the dress does wrinkle a bit, but I didn't really mind. Overall, an adorable dress with a very unique look!

Gorgeous dress, received so many compliments!
I rented this for my Physician Assistant white coat ceremony and it might be the prettiest dress I've ever worn! The fit is a bit large - I normally wear a size 2, but luckily I sized down for my back-up because the 2 was way too big and the 0 fit absolutely perfectly. I loved the full skirt, and the fabric is even more beautiful in person. The hem on the dress I wore was coming undone, but I had some iron-on hemming tape handy so it wasn't an issue. The dress did come really wrinkled, but all the wrinkles came out easily after ironing. I wasn't sure what color shoes to go with, but ended up wearing some pewter wedge heels, and the metallic was a great compliment. I definitely loved wearing this dress and didn't want to take it off at the end of the night!

So pretty, wish it had fit!
I got this for a free 48hr try-on at home, so I was testing it for a potential wedding later this summer. I was only able to get one size (2R), and unfortunately, it was waaaaaaay too tight to even zip up. It was really pretty and I loved the detail of the neckline, but wasn't able to get a good idea of how it would look since it was too small.

Beautiful dress, perfect for my graduation
I rented this for my graduation from my master's program and I was very happy with my choice. It was my back-up dress, so I had to take my chances with one size (2), and luckily, it fit absolutely perfectly. It is the perfect dress for a formal event, very appropriate length, and a nice neckline that allows you to wear a regular bra. It was also totally comfortable, and didn't show a single wrinkle after sitting for hours. I only wish it hadn't been covered up by my graduation gown all morning...

Such a cute dress - I wish it had fit better
I was planning on wearing this to a morning summer beach wedding in June, but fortunately I had the chance to try on at home before renting it. The dress is ADORABLE. Unfortunately, the fit of the dress just didn't work for me. The 0 was suffocating in the bust but fit at the empire waist. The 2 fit around the bust, but the empire waist was way too lose and made the dress hang like a sack. I was really bummed because I love the look of it, the orange and lavender lace looks great together. The length was perfect for me, about 3-4" above the knee - short enough to be cute, but not too short to wear around family. Also, it looks like a loose slip dress under a lace sheath, but they are connected around the waist and at the zipper in the back, so it seems like everything would stay in place.
