I wore this to a communion party and it was very appropriate for the occasion. The dress doesn't necessarily for small in all areas but if you have hips or a butt, the pleating is not flattering so I would recommend sizing up. For me, the top half and waist was true to size but the pleating looked stretched out even though the bottom fit. Sizing up looked much better but it was a little bigger than I would have liked over all, however it definitely looked better because the pleats were all flat. The material does not have any stretch but the dress was comfortable to be in all night. Everyone loved the color and design so if you're going to rent, definitely get a backup and size up if you have curves!

I rented this for my mother to wear to a wedding. We both agree that the dress is gorgeous. The detailing and style make it classy and timeless. However, the sleeves are incredibly tight and small in comparison to the rest of the dress sizing. It was almost as if the dress was made nonproportionally. She tried the 14 and 16 and both fit in the body, but the sleeves of both were just too tight to pull up properly even though the dress has off the shoulder sleeves.

The dress is darker blue on top as others have mentioned, which I was happy about. The pattern is fun and the fit is true to size and comfortable. Got many compliments on how fun of a dress it was!

I had such high expectations for this dress. When it arrived the first things I noticed were that it was super thick and heavy since its lined "for comfort" and it didn't sparkle at all like on the website. When I tried it on, it gave me a horrible shapeless boy figure. I think you also need to be taller to wear this dress. Since it has long sleeves, you need to show some leg to compensate. It was too much dress and and masked the fact that I actually do have curves. On the positive side, it arrived in excellent condition and on time!
