I was so excited to get these and ordered my normal size 4, and a back up 6. I am a 4 95% of the time and go up with a slim fit sometimes. These are huge. Not just baggy, I mean huge. Ankle length on me and I am tall. They wouldn't stay up and kept slipping so I couldn't wear them. They are lined with a heavy, soft material that felt luxe and would be perfect in cool weather. I really love them, just need to get the 2, although then I am not sure if they might end up too short.

I am tall and a bit long waisted -this dress was so short on me, the waist band sat like an empire dress and the skirt poofs out a little in front. Would be good if you are trying to hide a little tummy, I bet. The hem ended up way too short, as a result. It is much more sparkly in person than in the photos - in photos it looked a little matte too me but IRL the sequins are really shiny.

I am tall and long waisted, and it just didn't fit that well. It is basically a very thin black slip and then a sheer dress made of net with sequins sewn on. A little scratchy. I didn't end up wearing it.

This was a backup dress selected by a stylist due to an issue with another dress. Problem was resolved with excellent service and I did not wear this dress but figured I would write a review. The fabric is appropriate for daytime more than night. I generally fit into every designer size 4 or 40, but this dress would not zip over my back, around bra height. I am a pretty slender person, and haven't had this issue before. The bottom half of the dress was gaping open- that slit goes almost waist high and will show everything if you aren't careful. I think this would fit best on someone with a full bust to fill out the top, and a narrow ribcage. On the bright side, the bodice is flattering and the color is pretty.

So for this dress, the lining you see through the lace is black and the lace is a lilac (pink/purple) metallic. It looks a little more lilac in the photo than it does in person. What I mean is, the black lining jumps out at you a bit more. It's pretty, fits well even with a long torso, and is super comfortable. No wrinkling, no fabric worries if you are outdoors and it starts to rain, conservative but feminine and shows your curves.

Definitely sheer- plan on a slip or at least nude undergarments. It fits true to size - no stretch - but the draping isn't easy to arrange artfully. It arrived very wrinkled (silk crepe, no surprise) but was easy to press. While pressing, I noticed a stain on the bodice so didn't end up wearing the dress but I would have liked to. The zipper starts on the seam of the dress near your thigh and on the dress I had, was popping out a bit and messing up the line of the dress. I would have worked on it with the iron and steamer, if not for the stain. RTR sent me backups so no emergency, great customer service.

I actually didn't end up wearing the dress and was disappointed not to be able to- the bottom button on the back was missing and the lace around the zipper was very frayed and worn. RTR sent me several back up dresses so there was no fashion emergency but this one is really lovely. The fabric is light, and a little more daytime in person than I thought it would be. I would wear it to a summer wedding or a brunch party. The green has a bit more blue in person than it appeared on my computer.

I followed British sizing on the chart with no problem. I think it probably fits best on people who have a full bust and/or broad shoulders. It was a tiny bit short waisted for me as a tall girl, but not enough to feel it wasn't flattering or not to wear it.

The dress is beautiful, you can't tell as much from the photo but the fabric has a red lining; in the photo it appears all one length but in person it was shorter in front so the red lining has several visible inches. The top was very loose no matter how I adjusted the straps and did NOT fit the way the model's dress fits although she and I have the same body type. The cups sort of blouse out at the edges instead of laying against your skin, at least on the dress I got, which was not flattering.

Dress is not white/black/coral, it's tan/black/coral. Fit well, might be too big on top if you aren't curvy.

Really pretty. Not as heavy as I thought.
