The dress fits *beautifully*. I have a pear-shape, so this is a dress I need to take on and off over my head. It flows right over my hips, which can be a problem area for me. It's absolute exquisite. I tend to not buy formal dresses anymore since Rent the Runway exists, but I'm thrilled I can keep this dress forever.

I am so, so happy I got the 6R as my backup size! This fit perfectly over my hips! Pros: SO SPARKLY. SO VERY SPARKLY. Plus, no glitter, so the only trail I left behind were feathers from my feather boa. I had so many people come up to me at the wedding, and the morning after!, to compliment me on the dress. Of my cousins, I was the only one (besides the bride) who was not wearing black - so the dress popped even more! Other pro: not insanely long. I have dealt with serious leg issues in the past, so the fact I could wear heels that were 2 or 3 inches high, and not 6 inch stilettos, was absolutely fantastic. The dress was also an appropriate length so I could have worn my ballet flats if my legs were really misbehaving. Con: Zipper was *very* stubborn. Also, slight rip near the hem in the back - not noticeable, but I noticed when my shoe got stuck! I was a little worried about the lining in the front not staying upright. This is why I decided to not go with wearing pasties, but with a black bra. That way, if it dipped down, I was still covered! (Plus, my mom told me that my bra straps looked like they were part of the dress).

Fit: Really big! Bit heavy, but oh so glamorous! And damn, do they sparkle! Pro: Old Hollywood glamour. Con: So ... maybe don't wear these if you're going to be headbanging and jumping around on the dance floor. Within 20 minutes into dancing at the reception, one of the "moons" got loose and flew across the dance floor. I managed to get it back together, but I didn't wear them for the rest of the night.

I wore this for the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music's Music Moves Spring Gala. While this photo was taken the next day in my living room - I really wanted to show how amazing this dress looks when twirling!
