I ordered this and another dress (ML Mulberry sheath), and ended up wearing this one. It was extremely comfortable--nothing pinched or bunched or was constricting at all. The fabric has a lot of stretch in it, which was great for dancing and just generally not feeling one drink/dance move away from a ripped seam. The fabric is a gorgeous navy color, the lace detailing adds interest without being overly fussy, and the length was just right. I'm 5'4, 130-135 normally, and I wore the Small. Tbh, I probably could have worn an XS if I wanted a tighter fitted look, but I was pleased with the fitted-body skimming-but-not-too-tight look of the S. The straps have bra clips, and I wore a regular bra with it without problem. The dress hit me just above the knee--very flattering. Just loved this dress, and like I said--I really, really wish I owned it!

I ordered this dress and another (Josie Navy blue lace sheath) to have two options to wear for a wedding I attended over Labor Day. Thank goodness I ordered the second dress! I am 5'4, about 130-135 normally, and wear a size 4 in dresses (Ann Taylor, etc.). I ordered this in the 4 and the 6, and couldn't even get the 4 over my hips. The 6 I could get over my hips, but JUST barely, and there was not a chance of being able to sit or dance in the larger dress. It's a very pretty color, but if you have any hint of hips at all, plan on sizing up AT LEAST 2 sizes to accommodate. Or this may just be a dress for women who aren't hourglass shapes. In any case, I didn't wear either of these to the event, and ended up very pleased with the other dress I had ordered. Would have loved to wear this, but there is like zero-stretch in the material at all, and just would have been extremely uncomfortable and worried about ripping the seams all night.

I tried on both the 4 and the 6 in this (I'm 5'4, 135lbs, curvy hips). And while both fit and zipped up, I didn't love the way this dress fit at all. The top fit fine (I'm a 34B) in both sizes, but both the 4 and the 6 were very fitted and overly stretched on my hips. The dress does have plenty of give, so it wasn't a matter of not being able to move or sit--I just really didn't love the way it looked with the fabric so clearly being very stretched. I have fairly curvy hips though, so maybe on a less-hippy girl this dress would look great. As for me, just wasn't going to work, so I exchanged.
