love this with jeans and a tee shirt. it's cool, well structured -- boxy but with intention. i could have done the small but that might have been too short. width would have been fine thought. this is wide, but i like the length and with skinny jeans, it works

pretty not quite AMAZING
this dress was flattering and pretty and perfect for a sophisticated affair where you don't necessarily need or want to be the center of attention. it's great quality, nice fit -- classy, feminine. i could have gone down a size and still would have worked. this was a bit loose at banding around rib cage, but it worked b/c straps are adjustable.

flattering for the pooch
i am in between a 27 and 28 -- and lately (53) the pooch has become more noticeable so i've decided to just get bigger jeans and see if they're more flattering. in this case, it worked. pooch gone (at least when i'm wearing these).

beautiful statement blouse...
but the statement is subtle, which is what i liked best about it. it's not a loud statement, it's an easy, cool, modern and classy vibe. the only thing i had to mess around with was the tie. was not sure how to execute. but eventually ended up tying loosely and letting it just "be."

PERFECT
I loved wearing this blouse. it's kind of a wine/brown color -- not a color i would have chosen in-store, but looked great with blonde blue eyes, 50 year old self. i wore it with skinny jeans and a blazer. felt fun and classy all wrapped into one. i would say it's best worn untucked, unless you don't mind a somewhat blousey tucked in look. goes with navy or lighter jeans and black bottoms best. but i could see it looking great with tomato red too!

Need the right bottom underneath
this is v. flattering if what you are wearing underneath is flat or form fitting. this is not bulky per se, it is a wrap jacket and just looks better with as few layers underneath as is possibly. Very warm, flattering and stylish. i loved wearing it. def not something i'd grab every day though -- but for dinner out with friends, it was fun -- casual vibe while still making a statement
