Liked but chaffed on my hips by the end of the day
I love to add the sparkle to my wardrobe. I try to get 10k steps in each day and by the end of the day these chaffed some on the outside of my hips. Nothing visible, I was just very ready to take them off at the end of the day.

Waist closure could be a problem
These came with no clasp…just a button that is about 2” in from the edge. The result is that, without a belt, it doesn’t lay flat. Beyond that issue, I loved them!

Low waist was a bigger impact than I thought
These were comfortable. They arrived soaking wet. The package came on a Friday and I didn’t try them on until Sunday and they were wet. So clearly they don’t breathe. This wasn’t a problem…just be aware if you’re going to be hot. I turned the inside out to dry so they were fine when I wore them. But, I agree with others that I like the less because of the low waist. I just felt like they were less flattering.

I’ve seen others indicate it’s big/loose in the chest. I’m small chested and can see how that might be an issue if you weren’t wearing a shirt under it. But I loved it with a shirt under it. (I would be way too cold in the office with bear arms.)

Sleeve buttons were impossible
Part of the reason I decided not to wear this was because the sleeve buttons probably took me 15 minutes to undo to try it on. The prospect of repeating that was enough to dissuade me from wearing it.

There’s a zipper on the side!
I didn’t discover the zipper until I was wearing it. lol. It was a little challenging to put as a result…would have been easier if I’d discovered the zipper. Anyway, it was fine but I didn’t love it and probably won’t rent again.

Tips for tying the waist
When I received the dress, the waist tie straps were fed through the side loops. I pulled them out, wrapped the straps across the front, then fed them through the side loops and tied it in the front. I think this helps create the crossed look that I liked from others photos.

Short arms
I’ve worn the same size in other Veronica Beard blazers and they have fit great. The arms on this one are a bit short. And the inside of the edges of the sleeves and bottom want to hang down past the edge. I can mostly tuck them in but would likely not rent again.
