Do not rent this if you have large hips. The fabric gathers a lot and poofs out right at the waist line, which will just make you look larger. I'm curvy and it did not work for me. I usually wear a size 6 or 8 and I couldn't get either size to look right, even though I could zip both. Also, it was an awkward length on me hitting me in a weird spot just below the knee. Probably best for the fall and skinny!

Loved this dress! Like other Kate Spade dresses that I have previously rented, this one ran a little large. I fit into a 4. It arrived brand new! I loved the skirt and it was the right shape for my body type. I also loved that I could wear a regular nude bra - the straps never showed because the dress has built in snaps to hold it in place. Another great rental! Very pleased.

I ordered a 6 and 8 and opted for the 8 to try and make the dress as long as possible. The dress runs on the short side. The wedding I attended was in March in New Orleans so the fabric was a good weight for the temperature. The length was fine when just standing, but as soon as I tried to dance things got iffy. I would keep that in mind if you tend to dance the night away!

The sleeve is great on this dress but be prepared to play it up. I rented for a New Year's Eve James Bond Gala. Dress was comfy, not super flattering after eating though! Shorter than I expected and also a little more pink than I expected. Overall, a good pick again from RTR.

I rented this dress for a horse race! The dress was bright and beautiful. The lace work gives the dress a lot of detail. It runs really big, I had to wear the smaller of the 2 sizes I rented. It was pretty long on me too, but I am not that tall - would be great for a woman over 5'7". All in all, I really liked the dress and wanted to keep it.... Typical for a RTR experience!!

This dress was all the colors I was looking for, for a night out in Miami! But the dress is SO tight and overall a disappointing choice for me. It was by friend's birthday and after a late dinner, I did not feel like clubbing. The dress just was not that comfortable for me. I would recommend only if you are super skinny!

This dress runs small, as other renters have suggested. I rented a small and XS, and wore the XS. The material is amazing. It was so soft and hugged all the right places. This dress is elegant without being too short or too revealing. I did notice that the back does not hang as low as it does in the model’s photograph; however the draping was still very pleasing to the eye. I was able to wear this dress with a low backed strapless bra, I think without it would be a bit awkward. There is also nice black leather detail on the shoulders. I wore with black accessories and sparkly purple/blue shoes. I got tons of compliments and the color of the dress photographed amazing... definitely a great choice for an event with a lot of picture taking! I did not want to send it back! Another great NYE thanks to RTR!

I rented this dress for RTR’s Our Runway Launch Party in NYC! I ordered a 4P and a 6R because I wasn’t sure how the length and fit would be on my frame (I’m 5’ 2”). The 4 fit better than the 6 in the lower back area and top. This is a curve hugging dress, so expect it to be somewhat tight! In terms of length, it was a little short with heels (4") so I probably would have been better off selecting a 4R rather than 4P. Thanks RTR for a fabulous night celebrating great people and great dresses!!

This dress was so fun and fabulous! I got tons of compliments on my birthday and it was perfect for celebrating in Las Vegas. It was pretty big, I ordered a S and M and ended up wearing the S but I could have worn an XS had I ordered it. The only negative to this dress is the sequins material really rubs the insides of your arms - I had a lot of red marks the next morning. Ouch! Thanks Rent The Runway for making my birthday great! My friend also rented and wore Herve Leger in this photo.

I rented this dress for my birthday vacation to Las Vegas. It was somewhat tight in the leg area and very short. The top balanced out the shortness thankfully. I would rent this again for a similar type event. Very pretty color. Great material.

I rented this dress for New Year's Eve at a bar in NYC. After reading previous reviews I decided to rent in size 2 and 4 for backup - I ended up wearing the 4, as it was more comfortable. This dress is great because it hides any trouble areas you might be sensitive about. Your back is exposed, but you can easily wear a bra, which is a major plus. It is sexy with just the right amount of conservatism - not too short. I got a lot of compliments and I felt sexy and fun in this dress. I would rent again and recommend to others!
