Flirty AND Elegant?
Fun cocktail dress with an interesting silhouette. Linen fabric with a slight glossy finish and nice details on the bodice. I'm 5ft 8, long waisted, and very busty, yet it fits well!

Edgy & fun
It would look great with chunky creepers or sneakers and fluffy socks, but I loved this with thigh-high boots. I’m pretty flexible, so I was able to tie the corset laces in back, but it could also work to tie it in the front!!! I’m so busty that it didn’t look best that way. Interesting dress that can go skater-girl, goth, sexy, or elegant depending on styling. Also, the fabric is thick and warm. Not good for a hot indoor setting

Plaid sequins? Sheer panels?
This skirt is AMAZING and yet pretty subtle. You can’t tell the sequins are set in a pattern that mimics plaid unless you’re in bright light. No worries about clashing if you choose a patterned top unless you are in a bright white photo studio situation. There are sheer black panels between the pleats. There is an underskirt though, so your undies don’t show thru. The underskirt is cut like a mini-skirt, which was a blessing in windy conditions. The pleated sequin part was blowing up like crazy, but all it did was reveal the well-made underskirt. Whew! As flashy as this skirt sounds, I would also categorize it as a perfect staple that will be wearable for a decade because it’s so versatile

Fashion show audience
I got this dress in the yellow and hot pink, same size. The eyelet holes on the yellow hit in appropriate spots, while the pink one had the band of holes across the upper buttocks (too low). It's actually a great dress, just realize there is a lot of variation of where the see-thru sections might hit. Be prepared with undergarments just in case.

More elegant than expected!
From the official photo, it looked like a rather casual jumpsuit, but the lightweight fabric and cut actual give it an elegant flow. The pattern is a sophisticated pleasure, too. The mocha-like background with magenta ticking reads far different on a distant camera than a close-up view. This breezy, lightweight outfit is formal enough for work, but as comfortable as PJs. It also accommodates a generous bust. For the less-busty, I suggest sizing down.

How on earth!?
There got to be something inconsistent with the length of these pants. I'm 5ft 8 and not even my highest heels- 4.5 inches - got these pant legs to not puddle on the floor. Even pulling the waist so high I got camel toe did not make this safe to wear. Other renters my height and shorter have photos showing them as ankle length. No joke - my 6 ft 5 spouse tried them on and he also would have had to wear heels in order to not trip on them. I checked the label and and I wasn't sent the wrong size according to that. There may be some manufacturing inconsistency on this one Now, if they were not so crazy long, I would have loved these pants for a hip arty party. Oh, and the color was more of a hot pink. Maybe it was red once and was washed and bled. The drawstring was white, but a telltale pink.

Comfortable work wear - with pockets
I liked these culottes. They are wool, but not scratchy. They are roomy enough that even in 90 degree temperatures, they didn't make me feel hot. I've rented these twice actually - and had to spend 24 hours in them, including a very cold night sleeping in an airport, after many hot hours sitting on the tarmac. These would probably be great in winter with boots. The pockets are roomy and the shape of the culottes don't deform when you put things in them, even a big phone. The camel color is a great neutral. The entire outfit in the photos is from RTR: the EQUIPMENT Melisande Top, and the Halston Heritage vest. Together, they make up a great outfit.

I wish I had a chicken on every blazer.
Is it a chicken? Or just a bird? While this blazer won't be right for every business occasion, it was perfect for my meetings at an art school, and I recommend it for any time when when a dose of good humor is helpful. The jacket is very boxy in cut, so style accordingly. The liner and stitching are nicely done, so if you take it off and drape over your chair or something, the green and yellow liner show, as does the contrasting stitching that attaches the bird applique onto the blazer. And you know the Portlandia sketch "Put a bird on it!"... yeah, this. This blazer will cheer everyone up. And if it doesn't, they suck.

Fashion Show Front Row
This dress has a darling retro vibe and the acid yellow/green color really made my summer tan pop. I needed something comfortable for sitting in the front row of a fashion show, which meant it had to be comfortable for sitting without flashing the nether regions. The dress was comfortable, with a good liner and no need for special undergarments. It also did not develop wrinkles from sitting! So I looked great still at the after-parties.

Pop of color!
I wasn't sure the yellow would look good on my skin tone, but it was fine. I ended up wearing it with the sleeves just loose instead of with my arms put through the wrist holes because it was more flattering on my arms this way. I was able to wear a regular bra, though I did wear spanx. The skirt is more fitted than the bodice. After sitting through 2 hours of a reception, this fabric did not have creases across the lap/waist, so it still looked good in photos even after a long series of events.

Creative solution to the white shirt
Styling this was a bit challenging because the proportions looked funky or too fussy (thanks to well-endowed bust). But it looked great with cropped casual jeans. To make it appropriate for work, combining it with a slim fit trouser and the Michael Star's Long Fringed Vest got lots of compliments.

Versatile!
I wore this vest many ways - on top of jeans, longsleeve shirts, over dresses and skirts for work, and it was always comfortable and flattering. The fringe adds movement, which makes the it visually interesting and makes up for the potentially boring neutral gray color. But it goes with ANYTHING! And it has useful pockets. In the photo, I'm wearing it over the Tory Burch "Julie Sweater Dress." Hey, don't want to carry a purse? Just add this on top and use the pockets. Win!

SO this runs large - but it was very nice not to feel like a sausage, squeezing into a tiny dress. There was enough room in the bust, enough dip in at the waist, and room for hips. It didn't look like a sack. I also did not need spanx with it. I would rent this again.

Professional - for when you want to be listened to, not gawked at
I'm a bit long-waisted so this would be a little more flattering me if it were cut with a longer waist. But it's comfortable, good quality, a nice texture, doesn't make bad lap folds when you have sit through meetings and dorky computer tasks when your admin assistant is on vacay. It's like a decent men's suit. No nonsense - everybody else can get back to work because This dress says you're the boss and you look comfortable in the role.

Great for layering!
I got several compliments after wearing this for a cabinet meeting and council meeting. I wore it over a dress that was almost the same length, with tights and boots. Most importantly, I felt physically comfortable sitting through multiple meetings. I was worried the medium would be too small because I'm very busty, but I think I could actually wear this in the small size because of the minimal (but flattering) structure.

I didn't have any trouble matching up the buttons to the button holes on the wrap skirt. The very last hook closure is a little hard to find by feel alone, but it's there. The wool was not as scratchy as I was expecting. It's a good neutral for work.

Comfortable for work, and for cocktails.
This dress is all about the legs. The waist is not fitted and there is room to move (and slouch if you have to spend the day at a desk and want to just not think about what you're wearing). For a long-waisted (or busty) 5ft 8in person, you want to make sure you've got coverage under the dress on the bottom half. The interesting detail about the dress is the bottom panel, which is a separate panel held onto the dress with sturdy brushed-finish gold grommets and lacing. As you move around, there's a little intriguing peekaboo. So when I lift my arms, the grommets slide up several inches and potential show booty/crotch along that line of grommets. Tights or leggings are a good call, or maybe some black granny panties or boyshorts if you want bare legs. It's conservatively cut except for that racy grommet detailing.

It's all about pattern and texture
This lovely faux fur coat is a boxy cut, but the texture and patterns are what it's all about and they rather make up for the plain shape. I wore it over a Tory Burch dress (also from RTR) and it was definitely a fun piece. And the fur did not leave fuzz all over the back dress, which is something I was worried about. This Pinko coat was very cozy. I didn't feel the wind through it at all.

This was fabulous for a film festival. It was comfortable to sit in. No wrinkles across the lap! No spans needed. Normal bra worked! Threw on a jean jacket for the sunset events, took it off and it was glam for the fancier after dark parties. Very accommodating for abundant chest. This dress is a winner for comfort and style

The Michael Jackson comments were sweet, and men and women both asked to try it on out at some film festival parties. The leather is butter soft and faintly distressed. It wears like it's an old favorite, legit fashion instead an inauthentic shiny penny. Cons - it's quite short-waisted. The pockets are pretty small. My phone barely fit and I don't have a big phone. God forbid u expect to carry anything more than 20$ and a lipstick.

The stars were coming loose and I was short on time so I wore a different dress. This is a fun dress for an Oscar Party or something where you mean the stars to be a bit ironic. Or good for your own birthday party where you are the "star." But it may read as too self-absorbed for a charity event.

A safe choice, thank goodness
I needed something fancy enough for a gala but didn't want to be uncomfortable or inappropriately sexy since it was a smaller gala of just 100 people. The pockets meant I didn't have to carry a purse. I love that! The waist was a bit tight, but the boss was nicely accommodating for a large bosom.
