Bad fit overall
Didn't end up wearing this dress to our holiday party. It's suuuuper short. You'd have to be 5'0" to be able to wear without leggings. Even tights wouldn't work because if you lift your arms at all, your whole butt will show. The neckline is also super weird. It needs to either be a mockneck or boatneck, but this is some weird combo of both and not flattering at all. Also the large and XL are the same size, and both unflattering. If you're an XS this may work for you. But not for the rest of us.
