Gorgeous
I brought this as one of two options to a wedding and was looking forward to wearing it however I lost a little weight and did not think to size down. It wouldn't have worked but wasn't as flattering since it was a little large. This was not a dress issue though. I plan to get this in a 12 for the next wedding I attend and I know it will be perfect.

The material was thick and bulky yet wouldn't even zip. I typically wear a 12 but ordered a 14 because it was the only option in Long and it wouldn't zip. Very disappointing.

So flattering!
I love these pants! Very flattering, hides the tummy. I have other Madewell jeans and love the way they fit. Also they are thick so not see through at all.

Too delicate for everyday wear
Very beautiful, but too delicate of a dress. Not for everyday wear as I was scared to do too much in it. Simple tasks like climbing in and out of the car, picking up my two year old...not conducive to this dress. Buttons pop off easily with minimal movement. Also the straps wouldn't stay up despite the dress fitting perfectly everywhere else. I had to safety pin them, which didn't work for long. It was too exhausting trying to be so careful so I ended up changing before we left the house

Great night and I definitely felt like a million bucks! Lots of compliments on the dress!
The fit is great! It's a little bulky seeming in the stomach area but was more noticeable to feel than to actually see. Other reviews I read warned of this, so I expected it. It wasn't bad at all. The detail of the stitching is gorgeous. I loved everything about this dress and was thrilled with how well it fit! I especially loved having the backup size, which I didn't end up needing but it eased my anxiety.
