The dress was very nice, and with a short frame (I'm 5'2") it wasn't too long. The fabric does not give/stretch much so be sure to factor that in when ordering your size. There are pockets, and with the pleats on the dress it can make for a poofy look if you don't get the right size.

I'm short (5'2") and it was nice that this dress didn't hit at the knee or below (which is often a problem). The dress has a little give but not a lot, there wasn't that odd stretching that can happen with some dresses (leaving a saggy looking bum or poofing out in the tummy area). I also really liked that the dress had pockets, which was great for keeping my phone on me for snapping quick pictures or carrying lip gloss. I've had pockets in some dresses and they make you look fuller in the waist/hip area, this dress did not do that which was a plus.
