I rented this for the morning ceremony and luncheon for a wedding--then changed into a dress for the evening reception. I wore this tucked into cropped wide leg black trousers with black block heels. It was interesting and chic while still modest for the ceremony. It is cropped so I couldn't tuck it much even though my pants had a high waist, but looked too wide untucked. I'm usually a 4 but ordered the 6 because that was all that was available--it fit pretty well so I'd say it runs a little small. I could probably have fit a 4 on the sleeveless side but it was kind of tight around my neck on the sleeved side. It's the style more than the fabric that made this work for a dressy occasion, which I think means it could also dress down well.

I wanted something interesting for a colorful wedding that still felt like the more neutral, minimalist style I usually wear and this was perfect. The fit of the armhole was a little tight and I definitely had to keep pulling the strapless side up--it's nice that it is high on that side to hide any underarm bulge, but it sat kind of funny on me. This dress also hit me at my true waist, which is not always the case for me so that was a win. Where this dress really shines though is how it flows--BEAUTIFUL flow as you walk. It hit me right above my ankles and with heels it was the perfect length. Great for dancing too!
