Elevated piece!

Good fit, a little drab/casual
Rented this for a conference but it felt too casual for a professional work event. Ultimately, it’s a khaki jumper (or “smock,” as a coworker called it), but was a great fit on me (short waisted and short in general). Fine for daily work wear but not special.

I should have guessed this, but the top was just too long. This led to side-boob that couldn't be fixed even with tape, due to the high neck. Otherwise, cute dress! Prone to wrinkle but doesn't detract.

Cute and versatile dress
This was a great dress for an outdoor engagement party. Slimming, cute back, can be dressed up or down. The one thing I'll note is that it's not necessarily for the short-torso'd. The dress had a lot more cleavage on me than any of the pics uploaded here.

Mostly very cute but...
...it's a bit small in the hips, which throws the shift dress silhouette kind of off. I belted it which helped some. It requires a strapless bra. The lace back is very cute though!

Best dress!
This is the second time I've rented this dress this summer - it is that good. The dress is a great silhouette - a bit low cut but since you can wear a regular bra (the dress has little snaps to prevent slipping) everything stays snug. I wasn't sure I'd like the flared/cupcake bottom, but it helped to create the look of a smaller waist. Plus: POCKETS! It is mostly true to size but if you're between sizes, I'd size down. It's also a great length on me, but I'm only 5'2", so beware taller gals.

Cute dress - probably better for winter - and RUNS TINY!
I didn't end up wearing this dress but I thought it was cute and interesting. The shoulder cutouts made the dress very unique. The fabric is a bit thicker than I expected. It was going to be too warm for a June event. I'm under 5'3" and somewhere around 125 lbs and this dress *just barely* fit me. In a size large. Kind of crazy!

Elegant and sexy!
I wore this dress to be the MOH in a wedding where each bridesmaid could choose their own floor-length black gown. This fit the bill perfectly. It definitely shows off your figure but is simultaneously elegant. At a bit under 5'3", I wore this with 3" heels and it was the perfect length. Also, I wore a strapless bra with it since the shoulders are a bit offset.

Spectacular dress, too large on top for petites/short torsos
This dress is really beautiful - well structured (plus pockets!) and chic. The problem is that the bodice has too much fabric up top (and I am pretty curvy for my size - so this is unusual - I suspect it's more because I'm short/short-torso'd). The fabric is too thick to consider any sort of pinning - so sadly I couldn't wear it. Sad though - because it's a really great dress otherwise.

Great, easy dress. A tad on the large side
I rented this for an office Christmas party - and it's perfect for that. Not too revealing but definitely festive. Incredibly easy to wear - no fussing at all. Love that it has pockets. I found it to be a tad large (I am usually between a 4 and a 6 but think I could have very easily gotten away with a 2 in this dress - it was somewhat baggy in the torso which is super odd since I'm a bit top-heavy). Would absolutely wear again though.

Great dress but there is one flaw...
I rented this for a late September wedding and it was great. The 4 was true to size (but a little clingy in the tummy area so get out the Spanx). I knew to wear a strapless bra - but - for some reason the dress showed nearly an inch of the top! I had to pull my strapless bra ALL the way down - so much so that it was barely doing its job - before it was unseeable under the dress. I have a short torso, I guess, because I didn't see that complaint from other short gals - so just be mindful. All in all though, the dress was comfortable, wore beautifully, and was a great color! Would recommend.

Comfortable and pocketed! Adds a bit to hips though
This was a great color for a fall wedding and I'm glad RTR sent this as a backup when there was a snafu with my original dress. I am obsessed with dresses with pockets - but in this case - it added a little extra volume to the hips, which is sorely not necessary in my case. I still wore it and got lots of compliments - loved throwing my phone in the pocket - but just be aware that at below the waist, the skirt puffs a little bit. The lace cap sleeves were great though - and I recommend pairing with a big necklace!

Beautiful dress - but...
This dress is really great on the hanger and I'm sure (I've seen y'all's pics!) looks great on some women. I'm pretty busty, which combined with the full skirt on this dress, made me look sort of - large - which of course is not great. It was also a heavier material than I anticipated - and since it was a warmer fall day than anticipated, I went with the backup dress. Really great color though - and if you're slim up top, you'll look amazing!

Bright, fun, comfy!
This dress was a backup but I was so glad to wear it. It was comfy, but hit curves in all the right places. The silver shimmer takes it up a notch - this isn't a typical Lilly dress. I wore this to an Indian wedding - was glad to be in something bright!

Really pretty - but not for short or short-torso'd gals
Beautiful, well made dress. Wish I could have worn it - but there was just too much fabric. Because I'm hourglass shaped, the fabric bunched between my hips and chest - not a cute look. Gals without curves will look gorge in this. Have to say that RTR couldn't have been more helpful in helping me exchange. Had a new (great!) dress within 24 hours. Got several wedding guests to sign up for RTR!

Great shift dress!
Got tons of compliments on this shift dress. It was super cute and easy to wear. Two caveats: it's pretty tight if you have a toosh, and will require some adjusting after sitting. Also, it's a pretty warm material - I happened to luck out with a pretty cool July night but it maaaay be better to hold off until fall for this guy.

SUPER CUTE dress
I thought this dress was amazing - just so so great. I wanted this in both the 4 and the 6 and only the 4 was available. I got away with the 4 but it was SUPER tight in the toosh. Thought about docking a star for that, but I really should've held out for the 6, so my fault. I wore nubra but was pleasantly surprised that the top was sturdy enough - smaller girls up top can probably go without.

Not your average LBD!
Great dress! I was reticent to wear black (it is *almost* black, you can definitely pair with black accessories if you'd like) to a wedding - but this has more than enough to set it apart from the other LBDs. Was a tiny bit snug in the hip/toosh region - and the 4 and 6 were so similarly sized that it didn't really make any difference at all, so I went with the 4. Just needed a little adjustment now and then, particularly after sitting.

Cute, comfy and VERY classy.
Very cute dress - looks sort of dowdy on the hanger but is great on. As other reviewers have mentioned, it doesn't come with the belt, and I think a belt would have given the dress a little bit more shape. It was fine without the belt (though you could see the tiny thread belt loops on the side). Got a lot of compliments on it though - and it was comfortable enough for an all day shower.
