I didn't like the dress. The top half was too big in the 4 but felt better in the arms. The 2 fit but rode up so I tried the 4. Not much better. The 4 also bunched just as much as the 2 so I opted to size up because the arm holes felt tighter in the 2. The bottom half is a stretchy material which doesn't look like the picture at all. It needs to be thicker on the bottom or have some kind of facing to thicken up the structure of the dress. I'm hourglass so I feel like I should have been able to wear it. It bunches in odd places and I had to keep pulling it down all night. I wore a black leather jacket to help hide some of the flaws. Do not recommend.

I rented this for Preakness but the 4 was too big and hung on me. The 2 was too tight in the hips and the chest was too tight. The silk was pretty but has zero give.

I didn't get to wear this dress because only the 2 was available. The 4 wasn't in stock for them to send to me. I thought it ran small though, especially through the hips. I normally wear a 2 and this dress seemed snug. I wish the 4 had been available for comparison. I feel I can't give it a higher rating since I never had the chance to try on the 4.

I ordered this for my sister's college graduation but didn't wear it because I ordered the 2 and the 4 but i received two size 4's by mistake. I can't give it 5 stars because I didn't get to try on the 2. But the 4 was very loose, especially in the chest.

I ordered the 4 and the 2 and wore the 2. I felt the 4 was just too loose and the 2 fit me perfectly. I usually wear a 2. The fit and cut were so flattering I would order this dress again. I wore it on a date night with the hubby over the July 4th weekend. It was easy to wear and I received compliments as well. I love Shoshanna dresses, they always seem to fit my figure perfectly.

I don't know how to rate the size because the 4 was huge everywhere, it just hung on me like a hanger. It didn't work at all. But the 2 was tight in the hips and still a little loose up top. I agree with another reviewer that the pockets were oddly placed. But overall it worked for my event and I was able to move around just fine, even chasing after two boys! And I thought it was perfect for the July 4th party.
