I wanted to love this, the fabric is beautiful and the frayed edges add a different twist on a basic black shirt dress. Negatives, it's very short (I'm 5'4) and it's pretty see-through. I wore black spanx but would have been much more comfortable with a slip.

I loved this top, it was an easy one to wear for a more casual day at work and drinks afterwards. The neck is a bit low-cut for the office, so I secured it with some tape and tied the tassels low to help coverup. If you have a long torso it might be a bit too long, but this was not a problem for me.

This was a great dress for work and was conservative enough while still being fun. The pattern is nice without being too overwhelming. Based on the other reviews I was worried about the fit, but I found it to be very flattering. There is a lot of fabric that bunches around the tie-waist, but you can adjust it so that the fit looks nice. For those with a bigger chest, this fits great.
