perfect for an evening work event
thick fabric - and note that it's navy (not black). Hard to tell from the pictures.

Gold beads!
This dress is a bit more modest in person, and the gold beading detail on the sides is more prominent. It's a beautiful dress, but runs large - the 8 was huge on me. The gold sides helped create the illusion of a shape, but it was still too formless. I ended up wearing another dress to the party, but I would consider this in a smaller size.

Really runs LARGE!
there is significant pleating at the front and back (for a tummy?) and the dress is overall really stretchy! I am a nicole miller 6 usually, and I would ABSOLUTELY size down. the 6 was huge, so I ended up wearing another dress. Would rent again in a 2 and 4 though.

curve hugging, elegant
Wore this to an art show opening - fit perfectly, and hugged my curves. the only surprise was the exposed gold zipper on the left side - felt like that diminished the polished look. But otherwise it was perfect.

Not quite as elegant as hoped
These felt a bit more casual; I needed a more sophisticated earring. They also "jingle" a lot, so the noise was a bit too much for my quite event. I'd rent them for a party though!

Perfect for the Work black tie
fits like a dream! I actually didn't wear a bra under it (shhh!) but I'm a AA so it hardly matters. shows off enough neck and shoulders to keep things interesting, but not too much that it's inappropriate for a work setting. LOVE this dress!!

Fits like a glove
This felt like a nice winter alternative LBD. It wasn't particularly special, but I'll bet it could be "grown up" with good jewelry. I ended up not wearing it to my corporate black tie event since it was a bit too plain/young feeling, but I think it would be great for a date!

Heavy cuff, great impact
This was a great addition to the Nicole Miller "Perfect Lady dress. Gave it a nice edge. The cuff itself is heavy, and the back is a but rough - nothing terrible, but my arm was a but red by the end of the night. Not the most comfortable thing, but it got tons of compliments!
