I loved this dress and I wore it at my bridal shower. I felt very pretty and thought the cut was very flattering. (Note for sizing: when I married, I was around 150 lbs and at the time of writing this review, I'm ... not.) One thing to consider, especially as a shower dress where you might be sitting and opening gifts, is that it is a wrap dress and you'll have to be careful with how you're sitting to avoid showing off more than your wedding gifts. Love this dress and love Milly.

Very lady-like dress with a full flouncy skirt. Flattering fit, I'm above what I consider my ideal and comfortable weight by about 20 lbs, and I still felt pretty. Would be ideal for a bridal shower or ladies luncheon, maybe a rehearsal dinner, less formal wedding or a fancy date night.

I rented this dress for a wedding but did not end up wearing it, instead wearing a Temperley London Gown. This dress was very pretty and fit nicely, but didn't seem to fit in as well with the wedding I was attending, which was quite formal. I did like the dress and would consider wearing it for another occasion.

I had gained a bit of weight and was looking for a dress that would make me feel pretty without being too body conscious. This dress was perfect - I felt glamorous and pretty. The 8 was a little snug on me (due to aforementioned weight gain I think, not the dress itself), and it does cling a bit, so if you're on the cusp and would be self-conscious about that, size up.

Loved this dress - beautiful color. Received many compliments. Relatively true to size - if you have larger hips/thighs relative to other areas you may want to size up, I'm generally an 8 in Nicole Miller and I needed to wear the 10. Length was good for me - I'm a hair under 5'6" and don't like to wear super high heels. With 2.5" heels, it was the perfect length.
