I loved this dress! So comfortable and a nice vivid color . There is zero stretch in the waist (FYI). I had previously rented this in a pink color in my usual 6R (ended up picking a different dress that time), but then tried this one in 8P and I loved the fit in the chest much better. I normally a 4R or 6R (usually 6), but if you’re small chested I would consider going up a size and picking petite (I don’t normally wear petites). From some viewer photos you can tell there is gaping in the chest and I think going petite may be the answer. I still recommend fashion tape to feel comfortable that nothing will “fall out” but I was able to wear my stick on bra for a little added cleavage (for my A cup chest)

I am usually a 4 or 6 in RTR depending upon the fit of the dress (usually 6). The 4 was a better fit than the 6 for this dress, so I’d size down. The waist has no stretch but the bottom is roomy. I had to add a padded bra to fill out the top, but I’m small chested so this happens often for me

I usually wear either a 4 or 6 (usually 6) in RTR formal dresses and I am small chested and slightly pear shaped. The chest area of the dress is quite small, even for my A cups, so if you are more well endowed then expect minimal coverage. It actually flattered my small chest, was flattering on my curvy bottom half, and was a beautiful color with a nice thick material. The reason I wore a different dress was because the “gap” area on the rib cage created a bit of a muffin top effect that I felt self conscious of (and I am definitely smaller on the top half and therefore was surprised by this). They sent me an 8R to try which was better, but still left me feeling less than fabulous. I’d size up for backup

Beautiful dress but I ended up wearing another RTR choice. I am 5'6" and with the 6R would have needed very high heels that would have made dancing less fun. I normally vary between a 4 or 6 in RTR formal dresses, and the 6 fit perfectly. The most critical area of the fit is the waist, which has zero give (I consider my waist one of my better features and still needed the larger of the two sizes, so order accordingly). Also, I often need to pin shoulder straps to make them shorter, but this dress was perfect (so keep that in mind if you are more broad in the shoulder)

I rented this because I was 21 weeks pregnant for a formal affair, and several people had noted that it was bump-friendly. The stretchy material certainly allowed comfortable room for my bump, but it just wasn't flattering on my petite frame. I didn't think the arms were restricting as others had noted. It fit well in 6R ( I'm typically a 4 or 6 in RTR gowns pre-preggo, and the 6R fit well at 21 weeks and 6 pounds above pre-preggo weight). There was just too much fabric to be flattering on me. Luckily, another RTR gown made me feel beautiful! Consider the Nicole Miller "such a nockout" gown if you're expecting but don't have a huge bump yet

Awesome dress! Very elegant and expensive looking. The material is quite stretchy, which made it surprisingly baby bump-friendly and super comfy all night long! It's not easy to make a pregnant lady feel beautiful and sexy, but this dress did it! I would assume this material would also be accommodating to different body types because of its stretchy-ness, so don't be afraid if you have ample hips or booty. It may not be the best choice for the large chested ladies (unless you don't care to show a lot off). It nicely emphasized my small bust though! (I'm usually an A cup but I'm probably more of a B in the photo). I'm about 5'6", and like most of my previous RTR rentals, this dress (8R) hit the floor in bare feet. So as usual, I needed to wear short kitten-type heels. I'm always afraid to order the long though, because I don't want to be forced to wear uncomfortable sky-high heels (I love to dance) For reference, I would typically order a size 4 and a 6 backup from RTR and my pre-preggo weight was 128. In the photo, I am 21 weeks pregnant and have gained about 6 pounds. The 8 fit wonderfully. The stretch would probably make several different sizes work though

I didn't end up wearing this (chose the other gown in my order), but it is a very pretty dress and looks just look the photo. The material is very stretchy, which makes sizing more forgiving, but it also "holds everything in" in a flattering way. It was SUPER comfy due to the material. I think this dress would look best on a curvy girl. It does seem to run a tad short (I'm 5'6" and it didn't reach the floor with kitten heels)

I'm not sure if this runs on the large size or if I just don't know what my "standard" size is. I have a small chest and waist but am not lacking in the hips/bum category, so I ordered a 6 with an 8 backup since I typically wear a 6 in jeans. The 8 was huge and the 6 was roomy, but still looked good. I think the 4 would have been more flattering. It's hard to know my dress size since it can vary anywhere from a 2 to an 8 depending upon the brand/style. For reference, I am 5'5" and weigh about 128 pounds with a 34A bra size. Length was perfect with modest heels (I wanted to dance so I'm glad it didn't require high heels). Customer service is GREAT but this dress was actually overnighted to me by customer service because my original order was held up due to icy road conditions (so no time to have them send the size 4). I received TONS of compliments and felt like an old-hollywood movie star. The fabric of the dress isn't stretchy at all so you have to get the sizing right. There is good boning and corset structure so the top did not droop even though it was a bit loose (no one really knew it was loose but me...at least that made it very comfy!)

I did not end up wearing this dress but I have shared a pic of when I tried it on. I wear anything from a 6 to a 12 depending on how fitted a dress is in the hips and bottom. I found the 12R to fit true to size and it was surprisingly comfortable. The fabric is stretchy so I think a 10 would have worked as well. It was decently flattering, even for a pear shaped gal like myself. However, I felt a bit too exposed in the bust to feel comfortable wearing it for my event. I'm small chested but the dress managed to make the most out of what I have. Perhaps a longer length would help, as I had to pull the dress down to make it close to floor length even with modest heels (I'm 5'6 and just at the cut off for height)

I didn't end up wearing this dress (ended up with a gorgeous RTR dress, just not this one). It runs small in the waist. I'm pear shaped and usually wear a 6 in a fit and flare type of dress (Kate spade, etc), but this 8R was unflatteringly snug and the waistband hit lower than my natural waist (ie, closer to my hips and not the smallest part of it). Also, unless you have thin upper arms, the front view of the dress is not flattering. That being said, the lace on the back is beautiful, the skirt flows beautifully when you walk, and the fabric is heavy and nice. Overall a pretty dress, just not the best for my body type. I hope this sizing info helps!
