This dress is slimming through the torso and pretty flattering, but once the feathers hit, it makes your hips look a bit wide. I recognize that is the style of the dress, but I didn't care for it.

The tied waist helps pull the dress in from the waist, making the waist look small without unnecessarily accenting the hips. Loose fitting and short without me being afraid of bending over
