Greatest dress ever
The reviews are all correct! This dress is so perfect for any event where you don't need to be super formal(black tie/white tie) but semi-formal. Pockets are so nice and deep to hold your phone, lipstick, and compact and the fit is super flattering. One note that I didn't see until the dress arrived. The flowers are kind of a pink purple tint, in the photos they look silver. I had planned to wear red shoes with this but they didn’t look right so went with black instead. Great dress still and I will rent again!

I was so excited and I wanted this to work but alas, it wasn't meant to be. As others have said, it was WAY too short in the torso and was very inappropriate looking. I am of average build with average proportions but there was no chance. If you are a short torso person, it will probably look great but for me, it was terrible. Now I know to always pay attention to the reviews and not hope people are wrong. :(

Runs short but true to size
I really wanted to wear this for my birthday dinner but unfortunately, it was not to be. The "size" was true around the waist, hips, bust, and shoulders. However, the length was not happening. I am 5'7" with a standard length torso and this hit above my ankles and was very tight in the crotch (you know, the desert animal foot look) . I don't know if maybe they accidentally sent me a petite or if maybe it just runs short, but I could not wear it. If you are under 5'6" it would probably look great just didn't work out for me.

Nice dress but runs SMALL
I sure am glad I did my homework on this dress in reading the reviews before ordering. I typically wear a size 6-8 but thank goodness I ordered the 10! When I put on the 8, I could barely move or breathe. The dress looks fabulous on and I got a ton of compliments so please do not let the size deter you. The dress is perfect for a Christmas party or the like and I would totally wear it again. And as someone who is very conservative in my dress, I was a bit nervous about the "sheer" area around the midsection but it is not noticeable at all and does not look inappropriate.

This dress is perfect for a semi-formal party! I got tons of compliments!
Let me start with, this dress runs a little small. I wear a size 6 or 8 for all my slacks and pants from Banana Republic. Thank goodness I ordered the 8 but really, I may have needed the 10 since it was pretty tight. So I can't say it was comfortable but I'm sure if I got the size 10, it would have been great. With that said, the dress is absolutely stunning. It's the perfect dress for those occasions where you don't want to wear a floor length gown but can't wear a cocktail length dress. I will be renting this one again!
