This a beautifully constructed trench. I wore it with Dr. Martens in the rain and felt super fancy. Gathering around the waist is generous in fabric but the chest area is not and might be constricting for women more well-endowed than me. Will look to purchase when price falls.

This little dress is like scuba wear for the dance floor: thick, elastic, structured but not suffocating. In other ways too it felt sporty. The length and flip of the skirt made me feel like a cheerleader and I was tempted to wear with sneakers but went with low heels. The square neckline worked well on my masculine build (broad shoulders & no chest) and I added a chunky necklace to fill up some of that space.

This was a very promising piece. It fit perfectly in the shoulders, torso, and length, which is no small miracle since my shoulders are disproportionally broad. In addition, I found the fabric pretty and discreet despite my general distaste for lace. What made this promising rather than a home run was the waist band. It is so stretched out (on the size 6) that wearing a belt over it is not an option, it’s a requirement. Without using something to cinch it my backside including panties were visible to even the non-wandering eye. I wished that I’d met this piece when it was fresh in the system.

This is a beautiful dress. The fabric is fine, high-quality wool in a classic dark navy, and the design is creative and flattering. Reading previous reviews I chose to size down to wear formal work lunch. The fit was perfect everywhere except in the pits. I could close the side zipper but had to endure a squeeze under both arms. Maybe it's just me but it's a shame - I'd purchase if it weren't for the pits!

Fascinating combination of halter top and sweater. Needed a stylist to figure out how to put it on. Once on, it was a challenge to keep up, perhaps on account of my very flat chest - very difficult to wear any kind of bra. Paired with skinny jeans and sneakers for a truly casual affair.
