Unique dress, but runs small
I'm a street size 4, designer size 6. I got the equivalent to a size 6 and could barely get the zipper up through the waist. Once on, it worked, but felt like I couldn't wear it for a long period of time. This would be a case where sizing up is a must. Other than that, the dress is high quality.

Fun and classy, but not a perfect fit
The pleat detail is a lot of fun but the top is clean and simple, which makes it perfect for pairing with a jacket. Other reviewers said the top felt tight while the rest of the dress felt more loose around the waist, which is true for me as well. I'm a street size 4, designer size 6, and if I ever struggle with one area of the zipper, it's mid way up the waist. With this dress, I had plenty of room around the waist, but the upper ribs and bust felt really tight. I could still wear the dress comfortably, but it wasn't perfect.

True to size everywhere except the shoulders
I'm a street size 4, designer size 6, and I only tried on the 8. I would say the 8 felt comfortable in the bust and shoulders, but I still had room in the waist, which is my problem area. This is probably because the skirt hits well above the hips. Since I purchased, I'm going to take it to a tailor, but feel like I could have made the size 6 work. This might be ideal since it's easy to bring in the waist vs. fix the shoulders. Also, the tea length isn't the most flattering for such a short waist. I'll probably have the tailor take care of that as well. Despite all the work I'm going to do to it, it's still a good dress, as is, but not perfect. P.S. I notice one girl just put her arms through the first straps and let the lower sleeve ruffles just hang below the arms and it still looked decent. Might be something for people to try if they love the dress but want an alternative to the sleeves.

The dress was super comfortable.
I'm street size 4, designer size 6, and I could put it on comfortably and move around without feeling the need to adjust it. The contrasting lines and lace pull attention to all the right curves.
