I usually wear a medium but based on reviews, went up a size. It was snug around the rib cage. The dress had a small hole on the slit but was not noticeable in pictures, only when looking closely.

The 6R was a little snug and the 8R was a little loose. I went with the 8R because I needed the length. I was not able to really wear a heel with the dress. I’m 5’5” and wish I had ordered a longer length. There was also a strange shiny substance on the bottom of the dress. Not noticeable unless you were looking for it.
