Velvet and dressier than it looks at first glance
Gorgeous dress, but i definitely didn't realize it was velvet and more of a cocktail dress til it arrived. Too dressy for work for sure. Was going to wear to a PM work event but this is definitely cocktail attire. It's gorgeous and was a good fit. Not a great dress for a pear shape. I’m smaller up top so need things fitted there to look smaller and balanced. This top is loose and blousy. Would work great if you are more voluptuous up top.

Fabulous jacket I wish I could have worn
I adore this blazer. It arrived with one of the good buttons on the front missing. I was devastated! Had to come up with an alternative outfit for a work event on the spot BC i planned it all around this, but made it work. The sleeves were honestly a little long. I could've worn a 10. I’m smaller up top with thick thighs and curves, but def could've done the 10.

Great dress to transition from work to post-work events
Runs very tight through the hips and tummy. I have thick thighs and booty for days, but I still don't usually wear a 14. Followed advice of reviewers and glad I did. I definitely needed the 14. Great dress.

It's VERY fitted and has NO GIVE. I’m really a 12 because I have big thighs and a very bubbly booty. I wore it anyway and everyone had a fit over it but I was extremely bootylicious in this dress. The large was pilling a good bit and showed wear. The top part actually stayed down where it comes off the shoulders and I was shocked. Pair with huge earrings and red pumps and you will be a showstopper. Curvy girls, be warned. You will get loooooots or attention in this one.

I got tons of compliments on this dress! The color looks great with blonde hair too.
This dress is fitted, but probably runs true to size. I don't ever wear anything that isn't fit and flare so this was a new silhouette for me. I paired it with high waisted spanx and a strapless bra and felt very confident despite my tummy. Great dress for the gal who is testing out the waters on a fitted dress.
