I cannot say enough about this gorgeous gown. I wore it to a black tie gala in Orange County, CA that benefited a charity I sit on the board for. I received so many compliments and the local magazines all wanted my photo because the dress was so beautiful! I am 5'5 120 and 34C and wore the 4r. It fit perfectly. I wore 4 inch heals and dress barely touched the ground if at all. I rent all my formal gowns through RTR was so sad to send this one back for return!!

I've worn this dress twice to a gala. The first time I rented it in black, and the second time I rented it in gold. As pretty as the dress is, the dress in black is much more flattering than the gold. The style of the dress as you can see in the photos pulls horizontally across the chest and torso area. This really draws the eye straight to those areas. I am fairly proportional but I felt this dress made my stomach look larger and my butt look much flatter than normal. While I did get a lot of compliments I did not feel stunning in this gown. Also, it is definitely very sparkly. I mean REALLY sparkly in person. The person who loved this dress the most was my four year old daughter...it's definitely something "Barbie" would wear. The condition of the dress was great and as always rent the runway did not disappoint. I just would recommend the black over the gold unless you are rail thin.

I wore this to a gala at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, CA. I hesitated to rent it initially because I thought the mermaid flare at the bottom would be too much. I was excited to find that the mermaid flare was subtle and added so much style to a classic gown. This gown is absolutely stunning in person. I wish I owned it. It is also very comfortable and formed nicely to my frame. I found it fit true to size and even though it shows a little bit of body on top it is still very classy and held everything in that it's supposed to :) Some reviewers mentioned that the dress did not come in good condition but I can tell you that the 4R I wore was absolutely perfect and looked brand new. I am 5'5 and wore 3 inch heals and found that the gown hit exactly at the floor. I am glad I got the regular and not the long. I definitely recommend this dress for any formal affair.

This dress fit perfect. I didn't find it scratchy as some reviewers noted. It is definitely very sparkly but for a black and white soiree it was the perfect dress to wear. I had a lot of women compliment me and ask me who designed the gown. This was my first time using Rent the Runway and I am so happy I will never have to buy a one-time gown again for my galas!!
