I'm pretty consistently a M in most tops, but due to my larger chest sometimes size up to a L for button downs and more fitted/less stretchy styles. This L was complete no-go. WAY too tight across the shoulders and completely smashed my chest. Couldn't even wear it and was concerned I was going to have to cut it of my body.

Given my large chest, I went with the recommended size L. Definitely should've stuck with the M as the L was too boxy and sat very far away from my chest. I can't imagine that the M would've caused any pulling across the chest (my biggest issue with button down shirts) given the overall size of the L Otherwise, the shirt was awesome quality; had a great weight to it while being very comfortable throughout the whole day.
