I wore a S and honestly probably could have gone even smaller... (and am normally an 8/10) so definitely size down and down again for your backup. Gorgeous color and fabric. This was perfect for a black tie wedding! Length was perfect with small heels (I'm 5'5"). It was so comfy. And I am pregnant with a little bump that this could either hide or show off. Would rent again!

I wore this to my law firm's holiday party ("formal attire encouraged"), and got loads of compliments. I'm 5'5" and wore low heels (~2") and it was the perfect length. It was also a great navy color with white earrings and nude heels. I feel like you could dress this up or down depending on the type and color of jewelry because it's very simple and elegant. My only complaint is that I had to keep *extremely* good posture all night to keep the straps up. My torso may be shorter than these straps were intended for. Without pulling my shoulder blades back, my cleavage was insane. I'm also a DD cup size though, and it still fit on my chest, so overall it was a win! I think a smaller-chested person may have better luck with the straps.
