This is a gorgeous true wrap dress. It has a lot of volume in the skirt and wraps far enough around that you aren’t flashing your leg all night. Despite the ruffles and sleeves it’s very flattering at the waist and rear thanks to some well-placed seams. The volume felt sumptuous and gave a sweeping-feel to movement. The sleeves were so fun and voluminous. The color was rich and gorgeous. I received many, many complements. The skirt was a perfect length for 2.5” heels: it’s slightly higher in front so you won’t trip all night and trails in the back. I ordered a size too large as that’s what was available, and it was fine enough thanks to the flexibility of wrap dresses :)

This dress is heavy, as all the other reviews say, maybe 5-10lbs. It was worth it in my opinion, as the fabric is beautiful and expensive looking: a plush faux basket weave texture that can be noticed from a few feet away. It has a polyester feel but is squishy and thick. There is no mistaking this for a cheap dress. Although voluminous, the neck and back lines are dainty and elegant to keep it from feeling bulky. Because it adds a good amount of volume up top and the string-ties that fasten it are not very secure, I preferred wearing it without a bra for a flatter appearance. I am not sure how friendly this would be for busty people, but it’s got an adjustable upper fit if that is a concern. Overall a really beautiful and lush feeling dress, if you don’t mind the volume.
