It was a tad snug, but that's because only the 4R was available so I went with it! I'm usually a 4-6 on top and larger on bottom, so the full skirt was great. I felt plenty comfortable that night, and was able to move and dance easily. I would definitely rent it again for a formal event!

I am pear-shaped, typically size 8 on bottom and 4-6 on top, so I loved this fitted waist with full skirt. The skirt fabric is thick and silky (but flowy so not hot), so putting stuff in the pockets didn't show at all. The zipper was high quality (I know that's sometimes hit or miss with RTR). My only real complaint was the spaghetti strap length which was not adjustable. The size 6 dress didn't have the hanging strings, so the shoulder straps may have gotten stretched out from hanging. Both a pro and a con: the cleavage! I am a 32-34C and usually don't show much cleavage. I chose to wear a bra, which created some major cleavage that I was a bit self-conscious about, but everyone told me it looks fab. The length was fine but even at 5'5" with 3" heels, I wish the dress was about 2" longer in the back. I know that a 6L size would have been way too long though. I have been coveting this dress for a long time, and finally decided to rent it for this big event. I would definitely rent it again for a fancy occasion since so many people complimented me!

I'll start at the top: this dress is flattering on shoulders. Don't plan to wear a regular bra with it because the fabric cuts in a bit in the front. I thought I might wear a sportsbra BUT the back has a deep keyhole/opening which would have shown the back of the sportsbra. I ended up going with my beloved "sticky strapless bra" from nordstrom, and it was perfect. Now the waist: I am normally a 2 or 4 on top. The 2 fit like a glove, so I never tried on the 4. I had followed the advice of other reviewers to size down. Now the skirt: I am normally a 6 or 8 on the bottom, so the full skirt on this dress was absolutely perfect. There is a nice lining against the leg, and then a layer of tulle petticoat (not too fluffy don't worry) to give the skirt a little bit of volume. Shoe - I almost wore black shoes bc I love this one pair I own, but after looking at all the RTR reviews, EVERYONE wore nude. I decided to go with nude patent wedges and they were perfect. Accessories - a big chunky necklace just added to the lovely effect of the dress. I wish the dress had been a tiny bit shorter, hitting right above the knee. But the length was very classy and perfect for a wedding.
