It was comfortable, ran a stitch large
I wore this to a wedding. It's a stretchy lycra fabric and gathered on the sides. I rented an XL and wore shapewear under it. With the shapewear, it just sort of fell, not gather (if that makes sense). I probably would have been better off with a smaller size. But super comfortable dress. I wore with a large costume pearl necklace.

Didn’t work for me…
I’m including a close up of the fabric because I don’t think I realized what the dress looked like up close…it’s a black, teal & purple lace overlay. It’s a cute dress but I couldn’t get it zipped. I’m wide…wide across my ribs & shoulders and wouldn’t quite zip.

Didn’t actually wear it but cool party dress
We rented this along with another dress for my teen’s HS prom. This was a super cool dress…but it was more party type than prom type, so she chose the other dress. She’s athletically built with hips, and a long waist. The “hip” part of the dress hit a little high on her. Maybe better for someone with a shorter waist. We rented the size 4 & 6, but the 6 was the best fit. She may would rent again if she had an occasion. Very modern/edgy. Best part was a regular strapless bra worked fine with it.

Teen wore it to prom…great dress
My teen wore it to prom. The neckline is VERY plunging, so she just wore a black tube bra - and even then there was a little peak of skin below the bra (not big deal). She loved the pockets. It ran maybe a stitch small.

Runs a small in torso, large in bust
My 18 yr old high school senior has rented several Yumi Kim dresses. This one is like the others…super cute, runs small in the torso (she’s usually a size 4/6 but wears a M in Yumi Kim), but has tons of room in the bust, but nothing a safety pin couldn’t fix. She loved it, cute & fun dress. Sleeves were nice for winter.

Super cute for HOCO!
I rented this for my soon-to-be 18 year old to wear to her high school homecoming dance. We hate shopping, and love RTR. She’s an athletic build. Unfortunately the dress we originally ordered was too snug around the hips. But RTR sent us a replacement, so she chose this one. It fit her great. I think most of these dresses run a stitch small - she usually wears a 4 in other clothes, but 6’s always fit her best when we rent. We bought thought the dress was super cute for a high school dance. RTR for the win again!

I rented this for my teen daughter to wear to her high school homecoming dance. She has a butt and athletic legs. We ordered her usual size (S) and a size larger. The S fit her in the torso but there is no stretch and she couldn’t pull it over her hips. The size M did fit over her hips but she had little room to move. Would fit someone with a slender build much better. Good news is RTR is awesome and since I didn’t work out, we got to pick out 2 new rentals for her event.

Runs small, but great dress
This is the 2nd Yumi Kim dress my teen has rented for events. Super cute, runs small. She typically wears a size 4 in other clothes, but the Med size was perfect for her. She wore it to a school event, received lots of compliments and felt great.

Perfect for high school homecoming
My 16 year old wore this dress for her high school homecoming dance. It was perfect, she loved it and felt like a million bucks. It does run at least a size small. Based on reviews I ordered her one size & two sizes up from her normal dress size. She was able to wear the one 1 size up, but have others said, there is no stretch. She didn’t quite have enough bust to fill it out, so I pinned the chest. She said she received a lot of compliments on it. I loved the metallic stars - added a bit of whimsy. Again, worked out perfectly for her homecoming dance!

Worn by my 14 yr old for middle school dance....
My teenager selected this dress to wear for a middle school semi-formal-ish type dance. She loved it and said she received several compliments. As a mom, I felt like it was mature looking but didn’t make her look like a college co-Ed.
