This dress is amazing. Flattering, elegant, beautiful fabric and cut (but be warned, the plunge is deeep). Sadly, I had to order multiple sizes of this dress because the zippers on two sizes had been tugged so much they no longer zipped when the dress was on (even though it was not too small). I finally got one that zipped but was 1-2 sizes too big, so a couple extra stitches at the sternum and some fashion tape were needed. Nonetheless, this dress was a stunner and I had many kind comments about it!

Despite the gorgeous velvet and lush color, this felt a little skimpy for me for the cold winter event I was attending. I had a lot of trouble adjusting the straps which seemed twisted in the plastic slider. I’d wear it for an autumn event, for sure. The give in the material made it very forgiving and comfortable.

This is not your average "floral." It is edgy, cool, elegant and just sexy enough without being obvious. I wore it to a Winter Gala with the theme "Cultivate." It was perfect. The compliments were abundant and effusive! The boning in the bodice is shaped/located oddly, so it wasn't curve-hugging on top, but the embroidery/pattern and slim skirt made it work. As others have said, the neckline is super awkward. It's not a mandarin-style collar. It kind of sits out widely from your neck. But I just went with it and it was fine. If I owned it, I would have it tailored.

I wore this for the Museum of Art's Winter Bash. The attire was "cruise formal" - but with a vintage, 20's vibe (think Titanic, but with a happier ending). I wanted a dress that suited the theme but wasn't costume-y, something that made me feel sexy, but wasn't too "naked" (it was 4 degrees outside). Both the 4 and the 6 fit- I opted for the 6 because the length was better with heels and the 4 gathered oddly around the bust (esp. w/out a bra). This is a beautiful dress- the cut, the details, the fabric. Loved it, and had a lot of comments on it.
