I wore this dress to Stanford's Viennese Ball and had a marvelous time. The fit is good and the material is clearly of a very high quality. The embroidery looks really lovely in person, though I will warn small-chested women like me that you need to attach a sticky-bra pretty low to avoid it peeping through (same would go for a strapless). It was very swishy for dancing, though the slight cap sleeves did make any move that required raising my arms a little challenging. But the challenge was worth it for a piece as beautiful as this!

I received this dress in the mail for NYE and I knew right away it would be a hit! The fit is tight in the upper chest, as other reviewers have indicated, but it fit so snugly and comfortably in the size 4. I wore it with a chunky necklace, black and gold heels, and gold earrings and was complimented all night on the dress. Even when I had an enormous meal that night, the dress didn't feel tight. A knock-out for sure.

I saw this dress online and knew that I wanted it. When I pulled it out of the box, I knew that it was going to be perfect. It was a little long to wear with my 2.5inch character heels, since I was wearing this dress to Viennese Ball, which is an actual ballroom dancing affair, but it was just fine because the material had enough stretch to be stood upon without pulling or ripping. My boyfriend was a huge fan and I got compliments from strangers all evening. I cannot recommend this dress highly enough. Yes the zipper is a pain and it is quite narrow on top, but the line it creates is sensational and it's wonderful that you can wear it without a bra :)

I wore this dress to Viennese Ball at Stanford, and it was perfect for the occasion. The skirt is full-ish; just enough that it feels fancy but not so much to be ridiculous or childlike. It was incredibly easy to swing dance in, and looked elegant enough to waltz in too. When all the other women were tripping over themselves waltzing n their floor-length gowns, I was great! For fit, I'm small-chested and this fit like a glove-- tight so nothing moved, but not suffocating. The material feels of high quality and hits at a very appropriate mid-thigh for a short girl like me. The straps started slipping only when I was doing really rigorous Lindy Hop (and I have very sloping shoulders, so almost every dress I wear has that problem), so for the average person I would say the dress is great. I got compliments all night, I felt good in my dress, and it was easy to wear. Can't recommend it enough!

I loved the simplicity of this dress and it made a big statement anyway. I wasn't moving anywhere all night, which was a nice feature. The band around the waist was a little on the tight side but nothing unbearable. The only downside was that there were no short dresses and even in character shoes the dress was too long to be waltzing in. Still, a lovely dress and if you plan on wearing it to an event where you can wear more than two inches of heel, short girls are still fine!
