Compliments on the back!
An elegant, flattering dress. It fit snugly and well in the hips and loosely in the top (I was probably 34-35" in the hips then, and I didn't wear a bra because of the slit in the back). As with all long dresses, it was a bit too long on my 5'2" frame. Loose in the waist except for the waistline.

This gown is so elegant - and everyone noticed!
The cons: It was too long. There's no getting around the fact that, at 5'2", none of the "Regular" lengths will fit, even with 3.5-4" heels (and I can't go higher). Some fashion tape worked well enough that I wasn't tripping on it all night. The sleeves were long, too, but nobody would notice. The fit was excellent, a little snug in the hips (probably I'm 34") and with a little room elsewhere. I wore spanx to even out the ... unevennesses, which looked amazing and made the dress comfortable to walk in. The fabric is much chicer than I could see online, which makes it great for formal occasion. This is on my potential to-buy list, given it's incredible versatility, comfort, and elegance.

Loved it.
It fit well, it was ultra-flattering, and so glamorous. The only drawback? The narrow hem makes it difficult to dance. But if you figure you won't be dancing, it is a wonderful dress. I felt like a character in a Jane Austen novel, but modern enough not to look like I was wearing a costume.
