I wore this to a summer wedding on the East Coast. I ended up wearing my backup size, as the top portion is very fitted and doesn't have any stretch. It's a little tricky to get on because the front is high and the straps criss cross in the back. The pockets are the best! I got lots of compliments on the dress. The fabric was a little heavy for humid summer, but it was okay. I wore a short necklace with a small pendant but you could really go without because of the high neck. Looked great with nude strappy sandals.

This dress had some stretch, and the size 6 had weird wrinkles because it wasn't as tight, so I went for the size 4 with shapewear underneath. It was definitely short--even on my short legs it was above mid-thigh, so that made me a bit self-conscious. It helped that the top was relatively modest - not too low cut and I could wear a regular bra thanks to the sleeves. Overall, it was very flattering and the sequins and pattern made it a standout. I wore duster earrings, a delicate cuff bracelet, and delicate baguette cluster necklace. The theme of the holiday party was Wizard of Oz, and this dress fit the theme well. Be prepared to get lots of compliments!

This was my first Rent the Runway experience. I love that I could get an absolutely gorgeous, standout dress like this for less than I would normally pay for a cheapo holiday dress I would only wear once anyway. It was a challenge to zip because the material in back was thick, and for a moment I panicked that the dress in the larger size was already too small, but my husband was finally able to get it closed. Although people said this runs big, it was true to size for me, but I have a straight figure and my waist is not small. I got many compliments on the dress and felt so glamorous. I wish I had taken more pictures.
