Only took off one star because it wrinkles!
I love this dress. Yes, it wrinkles but I ironed it when it arrived from RTR and it was fine. Even in this photo I'd been wearing it pretty much all night for a Christmas party (it was 50 degrees that night) and it still looks good. Love the off the shoulder look - it actually stayed down! Most off the shoulder dresses don't stay actually off the shoulder. The color photographs gorg. I like it because I like my legs and collarbone area but hate my stomach so it covers all manner of sins there.

Wore this to my friend's 40th at a speakeasy. I could have worn the L but I was carrying a little holiday weight. 😃 I felt more comfy in the XL. Soooooooo many compliments. Felt sexy and comfy - the top has stretch. Warning - the girls will be on display! Also. Those are very high waisted leather shorts I am wearing. The top is more cropped than I realized. Be prepared to show off a little tummy. I can't wait to rent again!

Honestly, I can't say enough good stuff about this dress. I wore it to a black tie charity event and literally strangers were coming up to me all night and telling me how amazing it was. It fits very snug, I had to zip it up and then put the girls in and pull the straps up. The material has NO give but it holds you in because of that. It was right in the tummy area but also held me in at the same time. Be prepared for compliments. Def a showstopper!

So detailed and beautiful!
I took off one star because it is SO tight and has no give. I am normally a straight 12, sometimes I can get into a 10 depending on the material. Neither fit. But the dress was so gorgeous in person, I had RTR send me the 14. The detailing is amazing, as it always is with Marchesa. Not super comfortable to sit in but I could still dance!

Engagement party perfection!
Wore this to my best friend's engagement party and cannot day enough nice things about this dress. I got so many compliments on it! The color is great if you have a tan. Form fitting without being too tight. It's short though so be prepared to show some leg if you're tall.

This runs small. I am usually a 12, which will run a little big, or a 10 that will be a little snug. I couldn't get either on. It was gorgeous in person , just runs small and fabric has NO give. Maybe better for smaller frames.

Perfect wedding guest attire!
I wore this to a wedding in London in June. My only complaint is that it is a little heavy for that time of year. This dress has some weight and structure - boning in the corset. I wore spanx with it because I felt it accentuated my tummy. Also, I'm not exactly crazy about my arms so I wore my wrap a lot. Definitely shows off arms and cleave - the girls were OUT! That being said, I felt like a 1940's movie star and got SO many compliments. Good hourglass dress for curvy girls.

Comfy! Does NOT stay off the shoulder.
This was comfy. It's clingy but not tight - if that makes sense. Definitely figure accentuating. I believe it's meant to be off the shoulder but it did not stay down like that for me (even though it has the rubber lining on the inside to hold it down). I wore a strapless bra anyway. I wore SpanX because it is tummy accentuating. Will rent again! I wore it to the ballet.

Prettier in person!
Honestly, words can't do enough to describe this dress. I am normally a straight 12 but read other reviews about it running large and was pleased to find I could fit into the 10. If your stomach and thighs are your problem area like mine but you're smaller on top, this is perfect. The bottom of the skirt is so stretchy and of a thick scuba like material. I honestly think I could have fit into the 8 but I wanted room to move and dance. The top is tighter but I'm smaller on top. Plus it held me in with no bra and acted like a bustier. It's low in back and in front so definitely got a few cleavage comments but the netting over it makes it "classy cleavage". I can even describe how beautiful the detailing is on the bottom. I got so many compliments and I felt so beautiful and comfortable. Yes the top is a little scratchy but you'll get over it. I'd buy this if I could!

So many compliments on this! It's a thick scuba like material - I still wore SpanX though because I'm not a big fan of my tummy area. It hugs curves in all the right area but smoothed everything out because of the material. Also, the differing top and bottom patterns plus the black and white portions in the middle make your waist look small and give the illusion of an hourglass figure. Everyone said how skinny I looked! Be prepared to stand out! If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would!!

I got this as my free birthday dress but I did not wear it. A lot of the reviews said it was good for curvy girls but I felt like it made me look like a linebacker. I wear strapless a lot but this was just not flattering and I had like a line of arm fat hanging over the neckline and sleeves. Also. The black lining sticks out over the neckline. I have no photo because I couldn't really get it on. Maybe not the dress for you if you have wide shoulders or don't like your arms. Perhaps that should have been obvious to me. :)

Chilly Easter
This was perfect for a chilly spring day. It was cold and rainy so the velvet worked, but it's short sleeved so perfect for spring. I wore with the hook closed because I was with family but it would be very revealing without the hook (and maybe sexier and could go into an evening look).. It photographs more brown than it appears in person - it has pinkish tones. Very comfortable. I did not wear a bra. Am a 36b. It's open in the back. Very comfortable!

Vegas Bachelorette
I rented this for an "all-black" outfit night in Vegas (Bride wore white). It photographed well but it runs SMALL and I was UNCOMFORTABLE. Especially after I ate dinner! It got really tight around the stomach and there is NO give. Even before dinner, it felt right around the ribcage so definitely not good if you have a wide torso. Also, you cannot wear a bra (I'm a 36b). Bring boob tape! The halter strap also really dig into my neck. Looking back, I liked the way I looked but was so uncomfortable the whole night. I wouldn't rent again and I usually like Jill Stuart. P.S. I know it's not the best photo but it's one of the only full length ones I have.

Normally stay away from rompers because I feel like I have big thighs but with wedges this was perfect. Loose, while also making me feel sexy. Back is three loose buttons and then an open space before it gets to the shorts part of the romper. I didn't wear a bra (and you really can't with this). If you are bigger chested and don't like your back, it might not be the look for you. I'm a 36b.

I wore this when I wasn't feeling so great about my weight. VERY tight in the chest so might not be GREAT for bigger chested girls. But looser below the waist which is perfect to hide a bigger tummy. So sexy with the little panel unbuttoned (lots of cleavage) but if you buttoned the panel between the beasts up, could be appropriate for a work party. I did not wear a bra - am a 36b.

I rented this to host my Christmas party. Perfect! Was feeling a little on the heavier side this holiday season. The blouson style on top helped with that. Clingy and sexy without highlighting tummy. Was unable to wear a bra but it was ok for me - I'm a 36b.

I can't say enough about this dress. It is true to size and stretchy/comfy without being unflattering. I have a little bit of a tummy and it was a close fit to my body without highlighting that. Also great if you don't like your arms. I didn't wear a bra with it and had a little coverage. Perfect for Easter where I wanted to look a little sexy/a little pretty. I'm a 36b. Bigger chests might need a bra.

Rented this for a June christening. I have big thighs so went up from the 10 to the 12 to avoid a weird camel toe. Other than that, I found it SO comfy and got SO many compliments. Strapless bra is necessary - or racerback bra. Cooling fabric and not too heavy. Goes great with turquoise accessories! Big thigh and hip girls will wanna go a size up.

Perfect Peach!
Runs suuuuuper small. I think I could have fit into the 10 with spanx but it was Florida and it was hot so I wanted to wear the 12 sans Spanx. It's such a perfect summer color and goes well with turquoise jewelry. I didn't even feel that I needed to wear a bra so I didn't. The dress is thick enough on top the way there is the fold over ruffle. Perfect for the beachside rehearsal dinner I had to attend. But tight!!

I LOVED this dress. And I got SO many compliments on it. It runs small in the ribcage. So, while it is looser in the skirt and the top, the ribcage is right, and that's why I went with the 10 instead of the 8. That being said, I was comfy in the 10 and danced all night. The skirt doesn't even photograph as pretty as it is in person. A photo can't really capture the texture. Also, you're going to need some kind of sticky petals or fashion tape for the top because it is LOW. Def not the dress if you're feeling conservative. PERFECT for a beach wedding - dressy but still beachy.

This dress DEF runs small. I am normally a straight 10 in everything but I could barelyyyyyy squeeze myself into this one. I needed SPANX for sure. However, I was carrying a little extra weight from all the birthday dinners so take that into account. I would definitely size UP for your backup size, not down. That being said I got SO many compliments all night and felt and was told I looked super sexy!!

SO many compliments
I honestly don't think I've ever received more compliments on any other RTR outfit...and that's saying a lot because I usually get compliments on all the RTR stuff I wear. It was perfect for a beautiful spring day for my cousin's baby shower. The color is even more flattering if you have a tan. I have big thighs and wanted to wear the 10 but it was damaged so I had to go with the 8. It was fine, but just think it would have been more comfortable around the thigh area in a 10. Have already rented this one a second time!

Perfect in peplum!
This was a great dress to wear to an evening work function where I had to look professional but also wanted to look dressier than what I would wear on a normal work day. I received so many compliments. And once I took my blazer off, it definitely went from day to night. The only real con is that this dress really needs a kick pleat in the back of the skirt or at least the peplum should be split - it's a little bit hard to pull the dress down if you have a booty! But other than that minor issue, I loved it!

LOVE. The 8 fit perfectly. I was worried because sometimes sequin dresses are heavy and scratchy but I didn't have a problem with this one at all. Comfy and stretchy - was able to really move around in it well.The picture doesn't really do it justice. It's amazing when it catches the light. Got compliments from men and women alike all night! I rented this to wear to my family's house on Christmas Day. It looked great and photographs really well too. It definitely runs large, I normally run between and 8 and a 10 but after reading the reviews on here, I got a 6 and it fit perfectly. The only reason why I won't rent again is that the material is very heavy and I am a person that tends to overheat so I was slightly uncomfortable in a warm house full of people. Great Christmas color.

Just the right amount of bling!
I rented this to wear to my roommate's work holiday party as her date. It was perfect for an office party that was also slightly formal because it was form-fitting enough to be sexy but it had appropriate cleavage and the long sleeves made it a little more professional. Plus it is super-stretchy without being super-tight and the ruching over the tummy was very forgiving. Will definitely rent again!

This was my first RtR experience and I am HOOKED. I am normally an 8 but was nervous about my first rental so I got the 10 as a backup. The 8 fit perfectly and I felt so comfortable in it all night. The only con is that you NEED double-sided tape for the plunge front neckline or you will have a serious wardrobe malfunction. Got SO many compliments all night and really stood out among all the holiday LBD's.
