Not only is this dress absolutely gorgeous but it was super comfortable too! I was initially worried that the skirt would be too full on someone my height but it was lovely, just the right about of volume. I got compliments from strangers all night and I really felt like I stood out in a sea of other formal dresses. I had a great time dancing in it and because of the nude slip/lining I wasn't worried about twirling and exposing anything. Both the tulle and lace were in perfect condition and I would've never been able to tell it had been worn previously. I felt like a million bucks in this dress and was very disappointed to send it back!

At 5'2", I'm always concerned when I rent a dress that it's going to be too long. This dress fit perfectly on my small frame, a couple inches above the knee but not too short to be considered a mini. The stretch in the back of the bodice made the fit snug without being constricting. The boning in the front allowed me to dance without worrying about pulling up a strapless dress all night. I felt gorgeous and got compliments all night about how cute the dress was. It's a super flattering fit and cut for someone petite.

This dress fit okay, a little long for my frame. I'm 5'2" and it skimmed the top of my kneecaps. The color was beautiful and perfect for a summer event. However, the chain halter is much more of a dark pewter than a silver color and is VERY heavy. By the time I was at my university's awards dinner, it was already separating from the bottom portion of the dress due to the way it is stitched. A few pieces of fashion tape helped me get through the end of the night, but by the time I got home, it was completely separated from the bottom half of the dress. I spent a lot of time that night worrying about having to pay the full retail price of the dress instead of having a fun time. It's a gorgeous dress, but not necessarily conducive for anything more than sitting and standing.

Perhaps I underestimated the size I would need in an Hervé Léger dress, but even with Spanx, I felt this dress was uncomfortably tight and short. The straps felt a little bit too long and didn't offer the support I would've wanted. However, the colors were stunning and I'd definitely consider trying this dress again, albeit in a different size.
