I loved the idea of this dress—it felt very modern and daring compared to the usual fit-and-flare styles I wear. But while the draping did disguise my thunder thighs, the stretchy fabric accentuated every bump on my hips and pouffed out all funny at the zipper. That might have been alleviated by going up a size, but then the top definitely would have been too big. As others have said, the dress runs long. I am usually a tall size, but I could have gotten away with a regular in this dress and not tripped over the hemline.

Nice earrings, but I'm not sure they're really worth $90. The gold plating was flaking off the posts of the ones I received, and overall the pearls and rhinestones seemed a bit dull. However, I think they probably looked great at the distance that everyone else viewed them!

As everyone else has said, this dress is gorgeous and photographs beautifully. Some of the reviews made me think the sequins would be huge and costume-y, but they are very subtle and look just as good in person as in photos. Another thing mentioned in reviews—that it runs big—was not my experience. I'm an 8 on top and the size 8 long just barely zipped, but that was OK cuz it stayed up! I do recommend getting the long if you're over 5' 10" - it does sweep the floor, but that looks much better than having it float around your toes. I wasn't crazy about the loose, blousy panel below the bust, which makes you look a little chubby from certain angles. Otherwise, the dress was fantastic! Oh, and I stopped noticing the sequins rubbing under my arms pretty quickly, so that wasn't an issue either. Wish I could own this dress!

I am usually a tall size, but I could have gotten away with a regular in this dress and not tripped over the hemline.

The one I received had two grease spots on the bust. Otherwise, a great dress, just not particularly flattering on my pear-shaped body because it shortened my waist. Also, the shoulder strap fit a little weird - high and close to my neck. Runs true to size. The internal elastic strap at the bust is a nice touch.
