FUN! Surprisingly roomy
I rented this for the Best in Drag Show fundraiser event, and it got non stop compliments! It has a little inner zipper pocket (I fit my whole wallet in there), plus a back open pocket where the beaded boobs are (that was perfect for stashing the program and lots of cash for tips). The inside is surprisingly roomy - I stuffed a small cardigan in there! But don’t put too much in or the magnet closures won’t stay closed. Perfect statement piece!

VERY Sheer, No Pockets
This dress is so beautiful, but unless you’re wearing a slip or bodysuit underneath you’ll be showing off everythingggggg. RTR also put the black rental tag at the bottom seam, where the slit is, so it’s SO visible just walking around. Feels tacky. I love the silhouette and colors, but it’s not functional to wear anywhere.

I bought it! Flattering, beautiful, and comfortable
I wore this top to take new headshots for work, but I loved it so much that I kept it - it’s so versatile, detailed, and comfortable. The puff sleeves weren’t tight on my arms (a pet peeve of mine), and the style was flattering. Can dress up or down.

I’ve rented this dress a couple of times - it’s colorful, vibrant, and has POCKETS! It’s just as striking in person as in photos; I was able to wear just nipple covers; there is enough structure to go without a bra. Love!!

I wore this on a 95+ degree day on a garden walk; it felt like linen and was nice and breathable. The print is beautiful, and the sleeves aren’t too tight. Not the most flattering on my stomach or hips, and… no pockets. Why?? I wouldn’t rent it again, but it was nice for hanging out with friends.

Pockets! Daytime Elegance
Pockets!!! This was a fun daytime dress that could be dressed up with the right shoes. I’m 5’2”, wore it with flip flops, and had to gather it a little to make sure I didn’t step on the hem. It has button-adjustable straps, which was nice; bust is a little tight and flattened out my boobs. The pattern is unique and beautiful, and I would definitely rent again.

Modest, with Pockets
The good: this dress was comfortable and had pockets. The colors are prettier in real life than photos… but it definitely straddles the line of “hospital gown/nursing home smock.” The neckline was a little too modest (it needs a deeper V to balance out the “tradwife” vibes) and the ties create a short bow in the back - I wore it to hang out with my partner’s parents, but I wouldn’t pick it for anything fun with friends.

I rented a size L and it did not work on me at all. I’m 5’2” and it hit me mid-shin, while also being too narrow on my bust and hips. It has a side zipper that I wasn’t going to try and zip up, because it had the cardinal sin of a beachy summer dress: no pockets! Huge disappointment.

Flowy, sexy, and comfortable
I rented the L and the XL (backup) for a trip to Hawaii, knowing that Yumi Kim runs large. I actually ended up wearing the XL because it seemed like it was a little shorter (weirdly), but it was also easier to wrap tighter. The dress is beautiful in person and flowed nicely by the ocean. Always size way up in Yumi Kim, but it's worth it.

I rented this through Unlimited thinking I would take it to Hawaii, but it's not fit for that, so I wore it to a graduation party instead. So gorgeous - it has boning in the bodice, and I did not need to wear a bra with it. It's comfortable and eye-catching - I got so many compliments, including from strangers who just looked into the party room at the restaurant! I would size up for the backup on this one.

Comfortable and chic - runs large!
I rented these through Unlimited for work and for a nice dinner - they're silky and comfortable, with pockets! But omg they run huge - length-wise, they were perfect (5'2"), but waist-wise I had to fold them in the back and fasten them tighter with a binder clip. I normally wear an 8-10 in pants, and the size L pants were practically falling off of me. I would definitely rent these again, but in a smaller size.

I rented this for a baby shower, and it was very comfortable. It's low-cut, but has a snap (not a clasp) to keep it a little more modest...but it kept un-snapping, so I had to be very focused to make sure my cleavage wasn't too much for a sweet baby shower. This may be better for a date night where you can just let the snap go free!

I rented this for a wedding, and it was perfect! The v-neck in front makes it sexy; I didn't wear a bra, but you could use some tape and get creative if you need to. The details of this dress are even more stunning in person - it flows beautifully. It is very long - I'm 5'2" and even with 4" wedges, I had to hold it up while walking so I wouldn't trip on it. I received several compliments all evening, though, and if I were taller I'd rent it all the time!

Sexy, comfortable, and bright colors make it pop
This was a backup dress for a Napa weekend getaway, and it was my favorite! The colors and pattern are brighter and sexier in person, and the silk breathed beautifully on a hot day. It's very low-cut, which I loved, but there is a clasp to make it more modest if you want (my husband was like "nooooooo leave it open"). The decorative buttons didn't make sense to me and I think the dress would be better without them, but it's a perfect dress for wine tasting, date night, or any event.

I've rented this twice now, because it's the perfect dress that looks great in an outdoor beer garden and a Napa winery. It's sexy with the deep V in front (I wore no bra, but you can wear a normal bra), and comfortable with the floaty sleeves and the way it skims your body. I'm 5'2" and it came almost to my ankles, which was a great length on me; on taller women it will be more midi-length.

Beautiful, flattering, and with POCKETS!
I rented this for my masters' graduation, and it was a perfect choice. It's incredibly flattering, and the best part is that it has pockets! That was what I needed for carrying around my phone and lip gloss during the long graduation ceremony. The colors are vibrant and beautiful, and the variety of colors makes it easy to accessorize (I paired the dress with a cardinal-colored cropped cardigan, since that was one of my school colors, and it picked up the floral colors nicely). It was comfortable and dressy enough to fit in with all the graduation parties later in the day. One of my favorites!

Elegant, beachy, and comfortable
I rented this for a casual date weekend, and it was perfect for dinner and cocktails on a hot evening in LA. I'm 5'2" and was able to wear it with flat sandals, although I could have worn it with wedges as well. I usually wear from an 8-10 in fitted dresses (the other dress I rented this weekend was a 10), and I actually think I could have sized down to a SR in this dress. It was incredibly comfortable - I went without a bra or Spanx, just wearing regular undies (the dress is lined to the mid-thigh, so I was able to wear black undies without worrying they would show through) - and felt chic for the restaurant and bars we went to. I thought there would be black accents in the dress, but it's all shades of coral, white/cream, and navy...so keep that in mind when accessorizing. This would be a good choice for anyone with a tummy (like me) or who is in their first 2 trimesters of pregnancy.

This dress definitely runs large - I'm 5'2" and @150 pounds, and my husband saw me in the MR and thought I could fit another person in there! The material feels like you're wearing your softest childhood bedsheets (and I mean that in the best way possible - I didn't want to take it off!), and seems made for girls' weekends by the pool/beach. The straps are adjustable, which is great for shorter people. I loved this dress!

BRIGHT and Fun!
This dress is definitely BRIGHT! The colors are even more vibrant in person than online. I also wore a black Spanx cami underneath because the cutouts didn't feel that flattering (the one in the back was like, "Hello, here is my back roll"), but the dress itself was light and fun. It is fully lined, which surprised me, so it can definitely be dressed up. Taller girls beware: I am 5'2" and was able to wear the 10R with flats. I paired the dress with the Kendra Scott coral earrings, which provided an extra pop of color (not that I needed it!). I would definitely rent this again for a weekend in Palm Springs or something similar.

I rented this thinking it was going to be a lot larger than it actually was; I wanted to use it as a work bag that could fit a small laptop. It was too small to fit a laptop (although it would fit a Surface or iPad just fine), but it looks great as an accessory for the workplace. You will definitely feel like a classy person carrying this around, and it is roomy enough to fit all of your essentials. The leather is beautiful and supple.

Wouldn't Come Off Without Help!
I rented this thinking I would wear it on a weekend vacation. The top is a little different from what is pictured, with the print all over and not just on the front. The colors are nice and the silk was lightweight, although I wanted the top to either be a little more fitted or a little longer - the way it's cut made my torso look square. The main problem came when I went to take it off: it would NOT come off and kept getting stuck around my shoulders. Because there is no stretch or no zipper, there is definitely no wiggle room whatsoever. I had to wait until my husband came home so he could help me struggle out of it, and I normally don't have a problem with tops in size L/10, nor do I have broad shoulders...but if I hadn't had someone to help me, I literally would have had to cut it off! That sucker wasn't budging! This definitely seems like a top better suited for smaller women, but ladies who need a bigger size: size UP!

Pretty Color, but Not Flattering
I wanted to love this! The color is fabulous, the length was right...but I put it on and it made me look like I had the longest crotch in the world. I showed my husband, who said I looked like "an 80s mom about to hand out juice boxes," which was certainly not the look I was going for. I guess I just don't have the body type for this jumpsuit; I think women of all sizes can wear this, but it definitely accentuates a curvy belly.

I rented this for the weekend; wore it to LACMA and out to brunch the next day. I rented the MR and I'm 5'2" - I could wear flats with it, and the dress barely brushed the floor. I tripped over it a little bit, so if you're 5"3-4" then you should be totally fine to wear flats! Any taller and you might want the long sizes? I wore a little black shrug over it for sun protection, but the back is really pretty and low for those who love showing off arms and back. The dress is fully lined, but was still lightweight and flowy. Perfect for summer!

I've found with Yumi Kim dresses that regular sundresses run normal-sized or a little large; if there are buttons to close, then you need to size way up! Luckily, the MR fit perfectly, and I'm usually an 8-10 in dresses. It is very LONG - I tried to hem with fashion tape, which worked decently (although I was still tripping over the hem a little, even in high platform wedges). This will be great for tall women; shorter women be prepared. It was flowy and comfortable, perfect for a backyard BBQ.
