It was a birthday party with lots of dancing in June in august - the light weight material was great
I am 135 lbs and 5'9' and vary in dress size depending on the brand between a 6 and an 8... definitely needed the size 8! I think a lot of folks (including me at first) may not realize that th straps clip together in the back between the shoulder blades with a eye hook... suspect that is why many reviews complain about the top being big/showing a lot of bust. Once i figured that out - the dress fit like a glove! Definitely fitted in the body but really beautiful. Loved it!

The dress was very small. I normally wear a size 6 and even the size 8 was too small to zip.
The color was more fuchsia and not the red that it looks like on line.
