I flex between a 6-8 dress size but wanted this dress to be snug given the low neck line so I opted for the 6L and it was a perfect fit( I'm 5'8" and wore 3" heels). The weight of the dress is good and the material/ silhouette will cover any problem areas. The dress alone is 5 but since my rental had a snag in the interior hem I'm giving a 4 as my heel continued to get stuck in it while walking making the stairs exceptionally daunting.

True to size, I'm 5'7" and 150 lbs, the material is on the heavy side so it covers and flatters while being light enough to move around and dance with ease. Giving 4 instead of 5 stars because the zipper was impossible to do solo, way too tough and over worked.
